BenjaminPartícipeI did not know that about Qoph. I guess I did not know how to receive knowledge, I assume this is sort of like a pro football receiver doing a diving catch-it is receiving but still takes some practice like that, I assume. Thanks Gil

Lisa BruntonPartícipeHi Gil, thank you for your clear explanation. A very basic (and perhaps stupid) question: when I started learning Hebrew in the traditional/conventional sense, I was taught that it was derived from Aramaic. Is this the case? If so, does Aramaic also come from ‘root’?

Patricia TrovatoPartícipeThis means we dig roots upward from their source. The true root is from above. Love it. I garden so, that flips ur wig haha. It’s true. Source is all from Him. These causes and subsequent consequences, I’m finding patterns lately. If we take that consequence and track up to its ROOT, we see opportunities for spiritual growth that may hurt or ache a bit. Perhaps misery until we can connect the dots. Very good! Thank you

PartícipeThere must be many words that share the 3 consonants, SH-L-M so how can you say that Shalom peace is meaningfully connected to only one of those words, Connection?

PartícipeHi Gil. Your way of explaining resonates with me and makes it easy to understand the concepts of Kabbalah. The YouTube video linked to the topic of free choice presented by a different teacher didn’t work for me. I stopped it after few minutes.

PartícipeThis lesson really helped me understand [mention a specific concept from the lesson]. I particularly liked the analogy used to explain [another concept], it really made it stick. I was thinking about how you could even expand on that analogy… it’s almost like trying to navigate a complex problem in a ridiculously fun vehicle, like an Eggy Car! Haha. Seriously though, sharing these insights is great; it solidifies my understanding too. What were everyone else’s key takeaways?
