PartícipeIf the creator controls everything, including people and our thoughts & actions, then what is the point in this whole plane of existence? And how are we truly learning if we are being controlled? also what about karma, if we are being controlled then surely the karma isnt really ours to suffer?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorStephen,
You are asking all of the correct questions.
These questions will drive us forward to discover the answers. In the wisdom of kabbalah, the answer isn’t something you hear and you put it in your pocket and now you own it and that’s that. No, in the wisdom of kabbalah we develop and attain new degrees, imagine if you visited New York, so you know what it smells like, what it feel like, etc. That is the what we are talking about. Once you attain it, you understand it and can discuss it.
If you are a father, you can understand clearly the situation that we are in. With our small children, at first we give them a puzzle with 3 or 4 pieces to put together and then as they grow 10 pieces and 20 and then 30 pieces and as the child develops the games become more complex. Similarly with us. Through all of these thoughts and actions we discover who we are, where we are, what forces are actually operating everything, who He is, where He is, etc.
If that is the case, then certainly there is no such thing as some kind of “punishment” or “sin” because if we didn’t arrange all this then how can we be punished for something we didn’t do?!
I recommend for you to keep a journal and write your questions and your discernments as you advance, it will help you to develop much quicker.
Good luck with everything,

Lorna HakePartícipeWhat about satan, ego. I thought we had to find a way to rid them from our being.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorLorna,
We will learn all of these things.
What exactly are these forces? What are they doing and how do we work correctly against them, above them?
All of this is ahead of us in the spiritual work.

PartícipeI have always heard that it is a sin to say “the Lord (Creator) has tempted me. So I am confused 🤔.
- October 17, 2025 at 8:11 am EDT #460375
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorVictoria,
Yes, there will be some confusion as we sort all of these things out.
There are many religions and belief systems and each of them interprest things in its own way.
What we want to receive from this lesson is that everything, meaning everything comes from one source.
How can that be? What about evil, temptation, etc.
So we need to slowly uncover all of that.

PartícipeSo, ‘the devil made me do it’ is a sin. Adam and Eve in the garden choosing to eat of the tree of knowledge, and blaming the serpent and each other was the sin?
- October 17, 2025 at 9:18 am EDT #460385
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorVictoria,
We will learn what “sin” means. If the Creator places a desire in a person and then awakens that desire, then what can a person be held accountable for? And how could a person chose anything but the Creator if the Creator is revealed to him? Of course if He was revealed to a person no one could resist that pleasure. So there is a lot for us to discover and reveal here.

PeshkaPartícipeMy question is, why before I start learning the teaching of Kabbalah, I remember to call God’s name when I needed un answer or on a tough situations? I would say now I am just a new beginner, and He is in my everyday thoughts.
And I know there is non else beside Him!
Thank you for changing my life!

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorPeshka,
Lucky for us there are hundreds of generations who came before us who prepared the way for us so there are people who grow up with some concepts of these things already.

IsaPartícipeIn moments that feel unjust or painful, how can we apply the idea that ‘There is none else besides Him’ in a real and practical way?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorIsa,
Of course we cannot do this in our intellect and feelings. That is correct.
And in addition to that we have arrived at the books of the Kabbalists who tell us that we are currently perceiving a very concealed reality and so in one world we feel this pain and unjustness and also above that we begin to build a new perception.Seth@KabU
