No, there are always benefits for us, either we see it, or we are unconscious about it. It is how we were created (like everything else). Important is to know it and what we can do with it

I struggled with this concept at first.  I was like “come on…I do things for others all the time”.  And of course, that is true, I do.   But….if i’m honest…and really dig deep enough…I realize…damn…it’s true.   I do things for my wife all the time…I do them because I love her…but guess what…I get pleasure from doing things that I know fulfills her desire….so it’s still benfitting me!!   Guh!!!
