The transition is all in the “Intention”. There are many things we can’t change, but, what we can change is the intention in our “Will to receive”. If we pray to The Creator and put our faith in what He wants for us, with the addition of efforts on our side, we gradually start improving in us the balance between receiving for our own sake and receiving only to bestow.
When I tune into all my senses—especially that deeper, “sixth sense” of connection—I start to notice the different sides of myself, almost like the ten sefirot and partzufim coming alive in me. Each quality, from wisdom to kindness to discipline, plays a role as I catch my ego’s usual pull to think just of myself. Instead of shutting it down, I use my ego as a signal—reminding me to flip my intention from taking for myself to truly giving to others. Every moment becomes a chance to choose: do I act out of habit and self-interest, or do I stretch just a bit more toward real empathy and authentic giving? Step by step, this mix of senses, spiritual qualities, and my very human ego becomes the path to connection—transforming self-focus into genuine care for others.
