Seeing the friends as greater than myself is so crucial because that is the only way I can receive from them. How can you receive from someone when you think you’re better than them?

I learned that absorbing other peoples desires and feelings is the quickest way to elevate my prayer.

I learned how big my ego is and how “smart” it is at coating my intentions, desires and pretty much everything in a sauce that sounds and feels so… holy, but is yet another way to fulfill my desire to receive.

I learned prayer, because I asked for it, I asked to be changed and was eventually overrun by pain and put in a place to decide: faith above reason, thanks to the Good that does Good, or lost within reason and ego? The hardest thing was to give thanks in the midst of that sheer pain, but LOVE was there, holding my hands and I HAD to stop fighting and open my eyes to what I was blessed enough to See in front of me.

      Thank you all!

Expanding my understanding and experience of prayer. To enter prayer with praise and thanksgiving towards the creator, whether I feel it or not – especially if I don’t feel it – and trust that he is the good that does good. I’m not sure if it was in this lesson or in lessons from Rav Laitman or in the readings, but I was deeply impressed this week that growth comes by staying in a heart space of gratitude for everything – I worked with the fact that in and of myself I am completely unable to have the experience of drawing close to the creator in ALL things. Gratitude for the heartbreaking difficulties of life can only be accomplished with the help of the Creator, the teachers, the writings and the friends.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.    Proverbs 3:5-6

The last video made me realize that egoism is a boomerang: the egoism I spread always comes back to hurt me. Giving is like depositing money into a compound interest savings account: I receive what I have deposited with exponential growth.

The prayer. It is very interesting topic. How through this force we can reach Malchut of Atzilut, or not? What is our reality ? We just have the prayer, Kabbalah and friends with the same goal. Be similar to God….

      Thank you.
