What have you discovered about Kabbalah that was new to you?

What’s strange for me is that each concept discussed was something that I knew to be true. Like on a very deep, primal level. It completely validated what I thought was my own made up kind of spiritual mindset. I feel both shocked and overwhelmed with this discovery. I feel like I’m supposed to be here.

The concept of prayer, which was a lot more different than the prayers I usually do. I usually pray for all the suffering I go through to be fixed and to dissipate and leave, but I never really get an answer, I usually get this temporary feeling of wellbeing that lasts for only a few seconds or minutes.

The concept that it’s not all about scanning and praying or even the holidays and shabbats.  That is what I focus on.  But that it’s about the relationship with the friends.

That it is imagined as not being mystical or even religious, per se.  That the intention is to transform the inner attitude or imagining of the practitioner.

That u can’t do it alone and my whole life I have thought the need to b to b separate and alone .With no desire? Whatsoever  for others  its not that I’m anti-social  ( well kinda) but  don’t feel a need to interact more than necessary with people or socialize beyond common courtesy  or sharing more than to a shallow depth  I actually believed those feelings n viewpoints  were a gift or a  deeper understanding  blessed with. I WAS WRONG IT SEEMS   which is ok because I had a teacher who  taught me the importance of a community with like minded and goaled members “Family”
