What is the real reason for conflict and chaos in the world?

The ego has grown to an extent that it has reached a maximum threshold of selfish and evil desires.

From what I understand the ego has risen to this degree through our inability to be satisfied.  It appears that this direction of the ego is/was necessary for individuals to realize there must be something else to this life and ultimately lead us to the answers which are in the teachings of Kabbalah.

The main reason is that we have moved away from the nature of which we are an integral part. Ego has grown and thus we have lost each other.

Chaos and conflict in the world has grown because the ego has grown. Its everyone for himself. We have now reached the critical level of where the ego can’t go any further so as a whole the world is looking for answers which will lead them to the only solution of the Law of Nature which is altruism/love.
