I am free to want to please the creator, realizing all of his wonders, and joyfully / humbly accepting help as I am provided direction OR to suffer trying my own way away as I get guided/shoved/dragged back towards the path. I am free to move forward or struggle against a helping hand: The stronger the struggle the stronger the pull/punch/etcetera… But I don’t think there is an absolute way to know I am going the right way? So sometimes through reflection you come to realize the off steps and actually develop gratitude for that punch I may have resented initially… Leading me to hopefully choose and do better next time.
Real freedom for me is to be ONE with the Creator, with HIS plan for my life, with HIS will for me, as of the purpose of my life. Freedom is to really realize that There is none else beside him.
It is also the ability to act, speak, and pursue one’s (Creator’s) choices without external hindrance.
I love watching the river, and how the water flows in harmony. It flows according to the Creator’s design and engineering, according to HIS WILL. If we apply that to our life, this is the very state of freedom.
ABSOLUTE FREEDOM IS ONE WITH THE CREATOR.
Well, as Kris Kristofferson once wrote and sang, “Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.”, So many times I thought I was free, riding my Motorcycle, riding my horses, then while meditating down by the river, I discovered that there was something more! I met my Creator NOT IN PERSON, not face to face!! He came to me in terms of thought, in feeling, and in Him I was being led to learn about him and know Him more, what he has prepared for me!!!
