Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying?

I am studying Kabbalah because I believe it will help me define my purpose in life and answer the “why am I here” question.

I would like to know who I am and from there find out why am I here?  The Kabbalahists say they can help me with discovering the answers. And so I study.

I want to be aligned with the purpose of creation, to discover how to function as he intended so I can be like him.

To Correct ourselves to “will to bestow” in order to connect with all other souls and the Creator to receive absolute pleasure.

I always felt I was a seeker of truth, and it has taken me down some weird paths. My goal for studying Kabbalah is to align my soul so closely with the Creator that when I step off into eternity I will realize I am already there.

Adesion to the Creator is the most important aspect of studying Kabbalah.
