mrc sPartícipeI guess making money and reaching spirituality isn’t analoguous fully: making money have to invest efforts and money first and it may not succeed but studying spirituality is immediately beneficial to the person right?

mrc sPartícipeIs our defining characteristic the ability to speak or our reason or?
- May 22, 2024 at 3:04 pm EDT #373199
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorOur physical characteristics? Speaking certainly does define this, but it comes from the spiritual root. It’s “speaking” because this is the expression of our inner state where we want to be similar to the Creator.

BradPartícipeIf suffering or punishment in kabbalah is the gap between our desires and fulfilment, what about physical pain?
- May 22, 2024 at 2:13 pm EDT #373196
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorYeah, the same. The desire is to not feel physical pain and when you do feel it, the desire to not feel physical pain is unfulfilled.
