We study pticha to increase our desire for spirituality, what are the other reasons?

Hey Todd,
Right, it also lays down the principles and basic structures you need to be familiar with before you begin studying TES.

What does the surrounding light do?  What does the light that reforms do?
- July 20, 2023 at 7:06 pm EDT #326732Chris – KabU InstructorModerator
Hey Todd,
The surrounding light is what a person feels is pressing on their will to receive, like the “host” who wants to please the guest with more pleasures.
Reforming light is something more specific which Kabbalists say is the light that corrects the intention.
Thanks!

There is no time and space in spirituality.  Therefore we have all already been corrected for eternity?

From the perspective of the Creator, that’s certainly true. But our reality is one that has time and space sewn into it due to the accumulative nature of development and correction.
Thanks,
Chris

If I miss someone who died how do I use that in kabbalah?
Will I see this person at the end of correction?

Hey Todd,
I think my previous answer below also applies here.

So reincarnation I think in kabbalah it is described as you going from body to body, Yet also the it is like an ocean where each cup of water is different that you take out of the ocean even if you pour it back in it is never the same cup you get every time you get one. Also hearing of the root of the soul being the same. I don’t understand.

Hey Todd,
I’m not sure it’s something we can understand at this level. The sound needs to be corrected. The soul is one, but broken up. Those pieces need correction and each generation the “load” of correction is lightened by distributing it amongst more bodies. The difficulty is we still identify our “I” with the bodies and not the connection between the pieces.
Hope that helps,
Chris
