      hello

      1) can the correction happens for some in their moment of death

      2) what about some spiritual masters that reveal that when we discover who we really are we will see that we have chosen everything we experience here ” name, family, events…) in details before we come to this world

      • #318238

        Marouane,
        1.  There are also corrections that can happen when a person dies.

        2.  There are many spiritual paths.  Here we are only engaging in the wisdom of kabbalah that we received from our teachers, so I cannot speak about any other paths.  When we attain the spiritual degrees, we are above time and space, above the bodies.  The things we are engaging in are so much bigger than what was my name and what town was I from 15 lives ago.  We are engaging in attaining the unity of all of reality in perfection and eternal wholeness and pleasure.

If everything comes from the creator, how is there free will? Even the need to be like him is from him, therefor bestowing through our intention to him is also something he has coordinated…is it not?

      • #318206

        Vania,
        This is the correct question.
Think of how many grandparents and great grandparents participated in making you.  How their genes, experiences and traits formed you into who you are.  You didn’t have any control over that.  Yet we feel so free.
We’ll discover that we are in a closed system and all of our free will is agreeing with the perfect, whole, integral, loving system that we are in.
This isn’t an answer that can enter the ear, this is felt in the heart after much exertion and time.
        We’ll get there.

      2. Today I searched & found this first hand account of Rav Michael Laitman’s NDE and it started answering my question.

      http://www.kabbalah.info/net/a-firsthand-account-of-a-kabbalists-near-death-experience/

From what I understand, our corporeal life is an important & crucial opportunity to work on developing our soul consciously as after life we know ourselves as spiritual no questions asked. However here God is concealed and we have to work hard at recognizing what is real and unreal, what is a context here for our growth and what is our eternal reality, and how to reconnect & return to God?

      Marvelous lesson as always!
Learning about this complex development program that we are a part of, makes me feel wonder and gratitude for our soul’s existence. When i start the process of developing my point in the heart, I feel that I am gradually more encouraging towards others doing the same, since each of us will be driven towards developing & transforming, and I’m eager for them to feel the joy of developing themselves as I feel developing myself.

      1. Would this gratitude and thankfulness I feel, and my prayer that others also develop the same way,  be a way of pleasing the creator?

      2. I feel sorry for my departed loved ones, that they haven’t used the opportunity of their life on earth to pursue this transformation, can they continue developing in the afterlife, parrallel to myself,  through the bond of love we have?

        Andreanne,
Yes, certainly.  Like a new child when she finally recognizes her mom.  Until then, she is more or less unconscious of her mom, she is attached to her, and dependent on her for everything, but then one day, she looks at her mom and smiles and it fills mom with such joy.  But what did the little, helpless infant do, except look up and acknowledge the upper one.

Regarding your second question, I see you found one of Rav’s articles.  That’s great.  You can google “Laitman blog [any topic]” search for any topic you are interested in.  Rav has published extensively and I’m sure you’ll find wonderful material.

        Thank you Seth.

I have read comments from friends with a similar concern. We feel privileged with the growth opportunity we have here, and wish the same for our loved ones, including those cherished ones who have passed. Except that I’ve also come across some Kabbalistic theories that reveal that growth happens mostly through our efforts on this plane.

      Hi 🙂

I have really appreciated this lesson, thank you.

It has arisen in me some questions.

If I have understood the lesson correctly, Hashem directs everything that concerns us. If it is so, that means that:

      1. we do (in action and thought) what the Creator wants?

      2. In which degree do we held responsability for what we think and do? Towards whom?

      Thanks a lot

        Elena,
How many 100s of generations came before you.  People giving birth to other people each with their qualities and from what regions, what foods they ate, the amount of sunlight they got, luck they may or may not have had with health and earning a living, how many life lessons, how many festivals, how many celebrations and funerals and endless details until you were born and inherited all of that.
And you didn’t chose your city of birth or your teachers or what to be fed or what songs were sung in your house and what books were read to you as a child.
So you were formed from material that you didn’t chose and educated with ideas you didn’t chose and all of this formed you into who you are today, so it’s clear that there is not much we can be held responsible for.
In this world, of course there are customs and laws and what is legal in one country maybe a crime in another country.  So what does any of this have to do with the Creator.
We will learn slowly and methodically how to discover the system that we are in and that all of the experiences that we go through are in order to build in us a correct yearning, a correct desire for the Creator and in the end we will discover that we are just revealing what already exists.
