So I seen this video before but this time I think this is crucial. So I need to feel the suffering of my current state, the more I suffer for not being able to attain the creator the more I can attain the creator?

Hi Todd,
We attain the Creator by becoming similar to Him, to His qualities of love and bestowal. This follows the law of equivalence of form. Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: http://laitman.com/2013/04/everything-is-attained-by-the-equivalence-of-form/
If we’re suffering, we become opposite to the Creator and as a result, we cannot attain Him. For this reason, we never focus on anything negative in our spiritual work. All of our aspirations need to be on positive things, on becoming more loving like Him, being more connected, etc. If as a result of that positive aspiration we reveal how incapable we are of truly loving like Him, or how much we are suffering from not being able to resemble Him, that’s fine. That’s also part of the work. But that’s a result, a side effect of aspiring towards something positive. It’s not the goal itself. We NEVER aspire to be in any negative state.
We’ll learn how to work with these things more practically in the more advanced lessons.

Do we work on one of the 613 desires at a time?  Is there a sequence? Which one do we work on first?  Do we correct 613 desires for each step of the 125 steps?

Hi Todd,
Yes, you can say that each degree contains 613 desires. This is because spirituality is a state of wholeness. Every degree has everything within it. From that point of view, 613 becomes less of a quantitative number and move of a qualitative description of a whole state.
Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2010/11/numbers-indicate-quality-not-quantity/
Keep in mind that in practice, we don’t work according to some kind of list of desires, but simply with whatever is being awakened in the moment.
Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2015/09/compliance-with-the-613-mitzvot-commandments/
Also keep in mind that the 613 desires that we are learning about are spiritual desires, meaning desires that we don’t yet have. This is similar to how a single cell in a body only has some basic desires. But when that cell is part of a greater body, it reveals there higher desires which are impossible for the individual cell to have: desires for money, honor, power, etc. Same with us, until we integrate with the general body of Adam HaRishon, we don’t reveal or understand these 613 spiritual desires.

Hi Albert,
The bottom line is that, I have to pay attention to my intentions, and follow kabbalah courses. Am I corret, or is there anything else to do in order to reach equivalence of form with the creator?
Thank you for your work!

Hi Gabor,
For now, yes, you can say that. In the more advanced phases, we’ll get more tools to work with, like the Kabbalistic group.

I think coming from a Christian background puts me in an ackward state I mean im first confused by the terminologies which i think i will just come over. My question therefore is this whos is this Adam Harishom is he the first created Adam or a spiritual state.

Hi Otienodhek,
It depends on the context, but it could be used for both of those things. On the one hand, there is a spiritual system called Adam HaRishon, which is the system of connections between all of humanity.
Check out this blog post from Rav Laitman for more details: https://laitman.com/2014/05/puzzle-adam-harishon/
On the other hand, in our world there existed a person at some point who was called Adam. He was the first Kabbalist, the first one to reveal the Creator in practice. His name gives us a hint at this since Adam comes from the Hebrew word “Dome”, meaning “similar to”. He was not the first person alive, but rather the first one to reveal the Creator by becoming similar to this quality of love and bestowal.

Regarding being confused, in truth, we all have a certain set of baggage with which we come to the wisdom of Kabbalah, but we don’t need to fight these things or try to force changes upon ourselves. All the changes we experience here are not due to our own strength, or mental geniusness, or anything of that sort but rather all the changes we undergo is due to the force of the light that we extract from the Kabbalistic studies. It’s ultimately this force that can change us, not we ourselves. So it does not matter what baggage we come with, when we place ourselves under the influence of the light, it will make all the necessary clarifications, changes and corrections upon us.

Fate and free will walking hand in hand for a path of pain if we deny it, or a path of enlightenment. Opposites?

Hi Holly,
I don’t understand your question, please rephrase it.
