Follow-up question: is there anything you can give us to start applying Kabbalah principles on a practical level in our daily lives? At this point after 4 weeks it all still feels completely theoretical. We experience struggles in our daily lives and I’m wondering how we can use Kabbalah to help us navigate them, how to interact with others, how to conduct ourselves in the world.

I understand you. However, it’s like showing up at medical school and saying, I’ve been here for four weeks, when are we going to do the brain surgery?!
It may be hard to grasp this, but what you are learning now is the foundation upon which everything else you will learn will be built.
We are digging a hole in the ground that will be the foundation of our home. Later we will sit in the house together and enjoy the warmth and comfort there together, but this stage is very important, without it there is nothing else that can be built above that will have any integrity.
1. At this point, you need to be examining yourself especially and also everything around you and see how the will to receive is operating everything. That is the software operating everything.
2. Additionally you need to feel the gap between that will to receive that is operating all of creation and the force of the Creator which is bestowing all good all the time. You won’t be able to resolve it. Resolving it is like being an expert surgeon,it comes after much preparation and much experience, it’s not something that you read a few pages and then just do it.
Keep the fire burning and don’t miss any opportunities to go deep on what you are learning now. Read, re-read. Make notes, write questions, re-write what you are reading in your own words. Become a craftsman, the best in class. All of this investment will pay off 10x.

Can you elaborate on what this means?

A person has a desire let’s say for food, but you can apply this example to everything in this world.
So he has a hunger, and if he hasn’t eaten in a long time, then he has a big hunger and if he hasn’t eaten in a week, he has a really big hunger.
And what happens when he begins to eat? We know, the hunger goes away, even the person who didn’t eat for a week, can he eat 5 hamburgers? No, two, maybe three and then he can’t enjoy it anymore, he can’t fit anymore.
So the filling extinguishes the hunger.
And then the process stars over again the filling always extinguishes the desire and the motivation, the force of development stops and has to renew again.

Hi Thank you for this information and lesson. My question is, are we in all the worlds or is it a process? in other words, as I am now studying and working on corrections and rising above this world towards the creator, will I then go up 1 rung of the ladder until a future life? or can someone rise all levels in 1 lifetime? I hope this question makes sense. hard to put into words.

Imagine a woman is walking down a lovely street in the spring. The smell of flowers fills the air. She is pushing her daughter in a stroller, the daughter is just three months old. Walking along with them is their 10 year old dog.
Although all three of them are in the exact same place at the exact same time under the exact same conditions, you can imagine that each of them has completely different perceptions of reality.
The mom is filled with gratitude, all of the details of her life and now she is a mom. The infant has no conscious memory or any concept of where she is, that she is being pushed in a stroller down the street, she doesn’t know what a stroller is, what a street it, were on earth she is. And the dog is perceiving the world through his nose. He knows he is with the people he is loyal to, but he can’t understand that these are houses and that this is landscaping in front of each house and the street is clean and that license plate if from out of state and today is warmer than yesterday, etc, etc..
Similarly, we are right now in a field of endless, upper light. Between us and that endless field is only our limited perception. There is no where to go, it is all right here. All that is upon us to do is to learn how to open heart to perceive, to feel the reality outside of ourselves. This is possible in our life and this is the basis of our study.
At first we enter the study in the preparation phase where we learn about the world we are living in, what are the forces acting on me, what am I actually and how am I related to the world that I feel. Then later we will learn how to expand our perception. It is not something “mystical”, but actually very practical…I try to love and I come upon the boundary of my capacity to love and I pray and work to connect and my capacity increases and step by step we advance together.

Hello everyone.
When I try to change my intention from egoistic (the desire to receive) to altruistic (the desire to bestow), I find that even when I try to be altruistic, my intention often ends up being egoistic. For example, I might agree to do a favor for someone who asks me (which should be altruistic in intention), but I do it so that this person will like me or so that I can receive a favor from them in the future.
It seems that if I analyzed the intention deeply I found that most of them are ultimately egoistic.
How can an intention be totally altruistic, when I do it, in order for it to be altruistic (is this not some kind of manipulation?), so that I get attributes that are more similar to those of the Creator (The desire to bestow).

I’m happy for you. You are revealing the truth.
This is already more than most of the humanity has reached. It is not a simple thing to discover the true reality of where we are.
We will advance together on “two legs”. On the left leg you discover this deficiency. This causes you to have a need for the Creator to help you, and from this state you can have a true prayer. And then the light comes and next you will rise to a new feeling of illumination and wholeness when you feel you are advancing and everything is possible and you can reach our sublime goal, this is called advancing on the right and then again a new larger deficiency will appear and step by step left and right, left and right we will advance.
As we study the sources more you will understand all of the states that you are going through and we will learn together how to advance.

We learned that the Creator desired to create a creature and fill it with endless delight.
This is called the “Thought of Creation”.
From this thought necessarily extends that there must be some kli, some vessel to receive all of this endless delight and pleasure.
So instantly there was the creation of some shape that can hold infinity. However in that state, the Light of fulfillment is so great that the vessel does not feel itself, maybe we can talk about an embryo or even pre-embryo, a single sperm that contains all of the information that later will become “Albert Einstein” but today, it has no awareness.
There are many phases of development after this until we get to phase four. There are phases and sub phases and sub phases of the sub phases and so on.
At phase four, the desire which not only absorbed all of the endless delight, but also has absorbed the quality of the Creator which is to give, to bestow, to be the one who Loves endlessly. Phase Four who receives 100% feels totally opposite from the Creator who is 100% to bestow, but she can’t bestow herself. This appositeness causes a new spiritual action to appear called ‘busha’, we can translate it as shame. What it means is that the difference in form naturally became intolerable and Phase Four made a restriction to stop the Light from filling her.
She solved one problem, but creates another one!
The purpose of creation is that she will be filled with all that He has to give and now she receives nothing.
So she makes a calculation, now I will receive only as much as I can receive, at first just a little bit, only on the condition that when I receive it, I receive it with the intention that I am receiving only to give Him pleasure. I am only receiving because he wants me to receive, not because I want it myself.
This calculation creates the first Partzuf out of the phase four.
Now phase four has three parts. The rosh (head) which calculates how much she can receive, the toch (inside) which is the Light that now enters her clothed in her new intention. And the sof (end) the Light that remains outside and presses to come in.
