Yes too many times to count, sometimes I would try to defend myself from a place of pain and frustration, and instead of acting with balance, I would react with harsh words or cut people off. I see now that this was a survival response born from feeling defeated. Through the lens of Kabbalah, I am learning to replace reactive self-protection with inner strength, restraint, and the power of bestowal.”

There have been occasions when I felt my survival instinct take control, guiding my actions and responses. Since studying Kabbalah, I now reflect on my reactions, and grateful for the guidance that the wisdom of Kabbalah provides. Helping me to understand the underlying motivation behind my reactions and to make sense of what is happening in my life. I am learning to navigate my emotions and experiences with greater awareness and purpose in my spiritual growth.

Absolutely!  I can think of at least two during my life.  There’s probably more if I take more time to remember.

While we all react to stressful events in different ways, many of us try to protect ourselves by refusing to accept the truth of what’s happening.
