Do you ever feel like reality is the product of your own perception?

Nope not really. I am aware of it but I would like to know how can I influence my reality.. more consciously.

Yes, indeed.  For a very long time, humans thought the Earth was flat because our perception of the Earth was based  on our five senses, and this constituted our reality  until science confirmed that the Earth is round.

Our reality is often a function of how we interpret our environment with our senses.

Hi, yes, absolutely. I know that depending on my mental state-whether I am sad, happy, lonely, or embarrassed—I will react to a situation accordingly. Something that might not bother me when I am feeling happy—like a rude driver, for example—could make me angry and cause me to take it personally- if my mind is in a negative state. So yes, my perception creates my situation.

Before I began to study kabbalah, I dismissed the idea without considering it at all. Now, I believe, wholeheartedly,that is true. Reality is the product of perception.
