Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path?

doing my best to stay connected and involved. relating everything that happens to the creator, and seeing how it is meant to advance me.

seeing everyone as well as myself as separate parts of a whole, and that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Helping others is about becoming what you want others to be, intentionally and consistently.

Through helping others on their path we attract the light that reforms, which expands the vessel within ourselves and this allows more light to enter us and thus more correction.

By being present and listening to others even when they have the opposite views to mine, I am able to learn something about myself as they are part of me, as we are all one. By staying in the relationship, we can connect to the point in the heart, and the light will be drawn to the points and the space between us.

Through being present to others, truly listening to what they say and appreciating their opinion, which may be opposite to mine, I will discover more about myself as they are part of me; we are all one.

Plus, by staying connected through difficulties and challenges, the point in our hearts and the space between us will attract the light, and together we will slowly grow spiritually.

At this stage, helping others doesn’t mean giving something spiritual, since I don’t yet have the quality of bestowal. For me, it means working with my intention in the environment — not using others for validation, control, or withdrawal, and trying to stay present even when it’s uncomfortable.

When I reduce how much I relate to the group from self-interest, I contribute to a cleaner shared space. That makes it easier for the reforming light to work on all of us, including myself.

To take as much interest in the progress and path of others as I do for myself, to allow the light that reforms to do its work between us, to place my trust in the creator to resolve all differences and turn them into learning, using the Gilgal ‘head’, and to work with the Parzifum.
