Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us?

My intention for studying Kabbalah is because it seems to offer practical applications to be a healthier presence in the world . . . I think I am very non judgmental, unbiased, compassionate, etc . . . all the characteristics one aspires to when in one’s own environment . . . but when out in the world I recognize how easily base reactions are triggered. So being aware of my inconsistencies and remedying them . . .becoming more proactive and continuously less reactive.  Whatever that reality is . . .that is what I sincerely desire!
