PartícipeDear Hebrew Students,
Here is a link to the summary of the content for Lesson 8. Dr. B. didn’t get to quite all of it during your last class session but it will be presented to you next week. You can read ahead if you want and preview some of what you will learn in the next lesson. This should be posted also on your class website sometime tomorrow. PartícipeHello
Me and Sulamith were doing homework together today.
We got two questions to the teacher.
1. What does dagesch (the dot) in the middle of the letter “tav” means?
With “bet” we know that it is to mark the difference to pronounce “B” or “V”, but in “tav” what does it mean?2. The letter “hej” at the end of the word marks the feminine gender.
Is it pronounced sometimes or is it always mute (like “alef” at the end of the word)?I don’t want to take time for this during the lesson, so it will be nice if the teacher can answer our questions here in this forum.
Best wishes
Nadja

PartícipeDear friends,
I started to write flashcards, like on Quizlet, for memorization. Something like this might be of help for you too.

PartícipeShalom Hebrew Students,
Since the Content Summary that I made for Week 5 was useful to you, I decided to go back and make a similar Content Summary for each of the previous weeks. I finished the one for Week 4 today. It should be post with the Week 4 Related Materials within the next day. For now, here is a link where you can access the Week 4 Content Summary: docs.google.com/document/d/1Y3PKr_0jM83wnyxf-gaBxobgDoCLbRvtWpB7eSw7AwA/edit?usp=sharing
