I have been reading in and about Kabbalah for a year or so now – and just now during this course realized the connection between the point in the heart and the kli/vessel. I love it when things open up slowly to this old mind.  Looking forward to learning more every week.

“… realizing that the Creator leads us to
eternity, we can develop feelings of love for Him.”

      These words highly touched me.

I personally am not comfortable with all of the manifestation stuff that is out there in the world – I dont think it gels with my values! My understanding from lesson 1 is that this as the desire to receive! The Force of bestowal resonates more with me. Its as if this has helped me understand myself.

I have a new perspective on my own perception to understanding the words that I am reading, and I am discovering that todays English language is perhaps limiting because words can have more than one meaning. An example is the force of bestowal. My understanding of “force” is an aggressive word – to be made to do something. Where as force of bestowal I now understand for my own interpretation, to mean the power of bestowal. (A positive force rather than negative)

I’m playing around with this idea a little bit. Because everything, including our ego and will to receive was given to us by the creative force in the universe.

So wanting to manifest things in your life isn’t something that I see as undesirable. I look at it as part of the process. We have to fill the need to want material things in our life, especially the basic necessities: food, shelter, sex, money, in order for us to realize that those things Aren’t enough.

I don’t think it’s enough to simply say that these things aren’t enough, I want to experience having the finances I want practically, in order to know through experience that it isn’t enough to fulfill me.

I’m trying, and maybe this is the wrong approach, to look at the things I want to create in my life as a necessary, and dare I say divine aspect of my being. But having the proper perspective about it is key. I’m not enjoying the things I manifest in my life purely because I want them to satisfy my ego and my physical body. But realizing the creator wants it for me, and the creator wants me to feel good about having it is what I’m trying to explore. Although it will be fleeting, finding pleasure in it because the creator wants me to find it pleasurable is divine in and of itself. I hope I’m making sense.

This whole course is blowing my mind!  I would like to watch all the related videos and go back to the introductory videos. (I noticed one of the videos for this week was a repeat from the introductory week.  Repetition helps me to digest this information.)  I hope we get access to the course when it ends.  Also, at some point I would like to read all the posts, which seems daunting at the moment. The first question has over 2,000 responses. Yikes! On the one hand that’s a lot of voices. On the other, the world is awakening (much love for that!).

I thought Kabbalah was Jewish mysticism – I was wrong.  Glad I’m in this course!
