The best and worst experience from the classes that I have taken thus far is that I am 100% the will to receive – egoistic by nature and action. It shames me but it also gives me hope that I can overcome this aspect. I notice my egoistic behavior in so much of what I do and think and say.
In this class, my deepest aspiration is to transform the way I relate to others and to the world around me. I want to gradually remove the ego from my interactions—those aspects of self-interest, judgment, or separation that create distance between myself and others. Instead, I seek to perceive others as integral parts of a unified whole, recognizing that we are all threads in the same divine tapestry.
I want to cultivate a genuine sense of unity, collaboration, and compassion—toward others and toward myself. My goal is to internalize the principle of “love your neighbor as yourself” not just as a moral ideal, but as a living, breathing truth. I believe that true spiritual growth means becoming the change I wish to see in the world.
Ultimately, I want to shift from a self-centered mode of existence to an altruistic one. I see this path as a journey of ascending the 125 steps—the spiritual rungs described in Kabbalistic tradition—as a process of drawing closer to the Divine. Each step, I hope, will bring me closer to embodying the qualities of love, giving, and unity that reflect the light of G‑d.
There are two areas that have been extremely meaningful to me: 1. The realization there is One and only, that evil comes from our Separation from the Creator,that we are all connected. 2. That every single thing i thought I knew about spirituality is incorrect and I am in need of being corrected in these areas
