      Hi,
      In Rabash article number 380.

What is to properly sanctify the point in the heart?

      Thank you

      Adelina

        Hi Adelina,

This is to bring it into an environment where it is given all the necessary ingredients and conditions to grow and develop and where the shells surrounding that point are pealed off and the stony heart becomes a heart of flesh.

I was wondering if Kabbalists are required to do any specific prayers and meditation. I’ve been getting mixed answers. I was told by some to do the Shema Israel and Ana Bekoach prayers every morning and evening. I’m very new to this so any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

        <p style=”text-align: left;”>Hey Simonetta,</p>
Nope, nothing of the sort. Correcting our intention happens only by the light that reforms. Anyone who is studying the authentic wisdom of Kabbalah only wants to correct their intention to be similar to the Creator – from in order to receive to in order to bestow. No physical actions in this world will help draw that light of correction and change us from within, the only thing that matters is a person’s desire for correction. The more a person wants it, the more the force of correction can act on them.

What happened is throughout the years of concealment of the wisdom, the ego was satisfied by making all kinds of physical actions, even reading of prayers without any underatanding or awareness that the internality, actually, is what needs correction and not settle for some action with my arms and legs, or even mouth and by that feel like I’ve come closer to bestowal. Usually a person isn’t thinking about how they can exit themselves, not think about their own well-being. Usually a person is thinking about the benefit of the action according to their ego.

This is what separates the wisdom of Kabbalah from any other method. Hope that helps!

Has anyone ever considered the book of Job’s significance in the wisdom of Kabbalah?  The number 137 repeats itself throughout the text, just so happens to be the value of fine-structure constant and lies in the heart of grand unified theory.  I just thought this is very interesting.

      Peace

Thank you so much Chris. This is the reason why I know that I’ve made the right decision by becoming a member of KABU. So much misinformation out there on other platform.

        Hi Steve,

Although there are many Kabbalistic texts written  throughout history, we don’t usually consider them for modern study since they were written for prior generations that had much smaller desires to receive.

As a result it is difficult for people born today to grasp them. And it is generally considered a longer path compared to studying of more recent writings such as Baal HaSulam and Rabash.

      Hello,

I was watching an older q and a with Tony.  In it he says that learning Hebrew is not necessary to learn when studying Kabbalah.  He also said there was only 400, 600, 800 words you need to learn for the Kabbalah, I am not sure which he said.  Is there a list of words somewhere, so we don’t learn words we don’t need.  Is it simply biblical Hebrew?

        Hi Todd,

The list of Hebrew words required for advanced study becomes clear when a person begins learning about the structure of creation.

These lists exists in such texts as Kabbalah For The Student, The Preface to the Wisdom of Kabbalah, and The Study of The Ten Sefirot.

When I come to Kabbalah, does my will to receive try and beat the wisdom of kabbalah with my intellect?

      • #315378

        Hey Todd,
        Yes. Pretty much. Nice.
But this is normal. We have to go through these natural stages and explore all the options. The ego must do this. It’ll pass!

How does the present change the past?

      • #315377

        Hey Todd,
I’m not sure what you mean “change the past” – what like if I got a D on my test I can change that to an A? Or, how I perceived/didn’t perceive the Creator in the past and behaved as if there was no single force governing all of reality was something I now see was incorrect. This would be “changing” the past, since really, the past only exists within us, within the present and we’re always only changing our perception of the present, which includes previous impressions.
        Thanks!
