      In my Group of 10, what should I do when no one shows up for our meetings? When I join a meeting and find no one there to participate in the workshop, it can be disheartening. Some friends have RSVPed to say they couldn’t make it, but the majority don’t inform the group at all. Should I become indifferent to their lack of communication and participation? It seems we are not supposed to criticize our friends. However, using the analogy of a parent with a child, a parent would not be indifferent but would actively encourage the child to participate. After having this conversation several times,  what should I do? What is your advice for handling this situation?

        If it’s happening all the time, over some time, then we need to look at combining tens. But if it’s here and there, we try to set an example of dedication, encourage the friends – however, it has to be in a way that is effective, reaches their hearts in a good way. Striving in these tactics, while judging them to a scale of merit, is spiritual work in itself. And always remember, “It is I who must love the friends, and not that they should love me” – meaning conduct themselves as seems fitting to me. They are my place of work, on which my spirituality depends. It’s good that they inspire me, but that’s not the sole function of the ten on which the entire enterprise depends.

      In the morning lesson, there was exciting news about the development of the world Kli and the next steps of Bnei Baruch. It is very exciting to be part of the school right now. My impression from the lesson was that we are looking for ways to reach the next level of building community? In the 90s, Rav built community aimed at the study of wisdom, but now we are returning to focusing more on building community itself? There was a workshop where the organization asked for suggestions. So I wanted to contribute an idea if that’s OK.

      One idea I had during this workshop was to use an analogous franchise model. A franchise model uses a playbook where the parent organization provides a business model to the franchisee for success. The franchisee runs the playbook and is responsible for that node within the greater organization. What if BB used a franchise model to grow the organization? Not to make money, but to expand the organization.

      A franchise model emphasizes marketing, with a large initial marketing push to gain business. If Bnei Baruch had franchisees worldwide, those sub-franchises would handle local marketing. For example, I live in Michigan. A local Bnei Baruch franchise here would be responsible for local marketing to raise awareness of the organization’s goals, better understanding local market conditions. From my own experience, I would be more likely to get involved with a local spiritual organization than a global one I knew little about. This model could also enable groups to divide by regions, according to the franchise model.

      Another key element of this franchise idea is developing a comprehensive playbook, detailing how to market to the local community, build local relationships, and divide labor to help Bnei Baruch grow. The franchise model is a proven method for exponential business growth. Regions could be divided to avoid overlap and ensure clear interactions between local nodes. The franchise model provides a reliable mechanism for scaling a single business.

      The current state of technology supports this idea well. Imagine an AI-powered learning management system covering leadership, community, and theoretical training, all scalable and sophisticated. I’ve always dreamed of an electronic “My10” app. Instead of using Zoom or other platforms, this app would facilitate meetings with workshop suggestions and other features, available on iPhone or Android. It could also push workshop questions or articles globally. Although the current websites are fantastic, an app would streamline things towards 2024 standards. The app could cover all aspects of the world Kli, allowing instant global dissemination of workshops or exercises.

      Returning to the franchise model, it was mentioned in the morning lesson that we need to engage younger people with the wisdom. A franchise model could use market research to develop a formula for reaching young people, possibly through targeted TikTok or Instagram messages. The content formula, rather than specific content, would be key for the BB Franchise Playbook. There are already many talented, professional participants in the school who are fully invested in its wisdom. They could help develop a market research-based franchise formula for one community, which could then be scaled up globally.

      Anyway, I was watching the morning lesson and listening to the conversation and thought this could be a way to quickly scale with a proven model.  Thanks!

      Hello, Rav said that the world has no form, we are giving it a form, does this apply only to people that are awaken in spirituality or all people?

        People who are not consciously depicting a world beyond what their nature dictates, we can say are unconsciously depicting the egoistic world among them through the dictates naturally emerging in them.

        And moreover, if I am creating the world with all the “bad people” that made me ask the question what is going on, what is the meaning of life, does that mean that I awaken myself? Where is the Creator in this? Or does all that with the creation apply only after I receive a bit of free will?

          You’re still not free, you’re getting the awakening from the Creator, and He wants us to continue this awakening further.

      What if your ten feels very shattered and disconnected and all your attempts to unite them are met with misunderstanding, indifference, and down right annoyance?  People seem even scared to communicate for fears of being wrong or upsetting someone or what not.  Then it is met with frustration from me which then leads to more indifference lack of communication and what not.  The more I do the more I care increasingly leads to more disconnection.  I feel as if I am in a position where for my own well being the only option is to gradually come to care less and less about the group for my own well being.

        The ten is my place for work, to change myself, my attitude to others, and through this, my attitude to the Creator, to come to love Him through them. If my child is not behaving, I don’t give up on him, but find another approach. As Rabash writes, It is not the friends who should love me, but I who must love the friends.

      My question initially is why have bad things started to happen to me after starting the study of Kabbalah?  I would like to evolve that question to be:  Why since studying Kabbalah things have happened in my life that are not just challenging but epically challenging and coming out of the clear blue sky.  Things that make me constantly question my relationship to other people, government, society, nature and on and on.  Questioning who I want to impress and why.  What do I want in my life.  What are these systems actually accomplishing and what they are lying about and what is my future going to be it is unclear now and on and on.  So what do I make of this?

        Correlation isn’t causation – as in there being a clear connection between those things and studying Kabbalah. In the worst case, the Light from the study can illuminate what’s already there – or surfacing what already existed. Therefore, all I can say is to continue in both – necessities for life, and the study of Kabbalah. If one takes both seriously, it will surely be good.

      I’m trying to recall these authentic teachings accurately. Is the rest of creation—like animals, trees, and rocks—already in a perfected state, with only humans needing to follow the three-line model journey from and back to the Creator?

      And, if the rest of creation is fully corrected, does this mean it is in a state of “receiving in order to bestow,” or is it in some other state? Or is it not related to that model at all and simply receives?

      Also, I’d love to see an animation of the Pticha, showing how the light develops the desire and moves through the partzufim. If such an animation already exists, could you point me to it?

        We thought of creating such an animation for the Blueprint of Creation course, but it would have required more significant resources than we had.

        All of creation but man is corrected, and he, with his shattered perception projects everything as shattered. It’s that simple.

        The entire Kl (vessel) is in the final, corrected state.

          Awesome, the answers are very helpful. Thank you.

          I interpret that to mean that the rest of creation “receives in order to bestow contentment” to the Creator. It receives the light in a pure, unmolested way and is in perfect balance with the forces of nature. The reason I ask is that I sometimes like to contemplate Creation. For example, when I look at a tree or an animal, I think to myself that this object, this thing, is simply bringing contentment to the Creator. Is this a correct understanding?

          The contrasting understanding is that only humans are on the pathway of receiving in order to bestow, while nature just receives.

          This has encouraged me to start the Blueprint of Creation, I’ve heard of it many times and just haven’t started it.

          Nature is simply One with the Creator, utterly operated. That’s why it’s not that it brings the Creator contentment. Only man is the creation that is opposite the Creator in his qualities, and thus can invert his nature, and become a conscious partner with Him, and bring Him contentment.
