According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, I heard that a person cannot achieve spirituality alone unless they are two or three etc. If they both agree and connect together then the Creator will be revealed between them

1- I wish to ask, what does between mean?

        Hi Kima,

Between means beyond one’s skin, everywhere except in my “I”, in the connection of the friends, the Creator is revealed.

‘I’ can only feel the between’ only when ‘I’ have achieved connection with the friends?

        • #381474

What’s between you is the Creator, and He’s only felt when the relationships between you are similar to what should be between you and the Creator. So, you don’t feel Him until you’re correctly connected to the friends.

In the sources, the word Demand is used quite frequently. Such as the Demand for the Reforming Light. Why is the word Demand used instead of Ask? Demand has quite a different connotation in my mind. Is it not disrespectful to Demand something from the creator instead of Asking because the granting of a request is his will not mine?

        Hi Greg,

These are different approaches to the Upper Force, and both are welcome. The thing is, the Upper Force doesn’t receive a request from me as from a man. It’s disrespectful for a man to come to me and demand anything. But when my baby demands, it’s actually adorable. I’m even proud that he is learning how to stand up for himself somewhat. It’s not in his powers to disrespect me, you understand. The Upper Force, in the best case, treats us as a baby from whom it adores any request or demand, the more specific and cogent, the more contentment we give the Creator.

1- How to come to a correct deficiency to bestow?
2- Is it by asking the Creator to give the friends the deficiency or I should pray for the deficiency for myself?

      • #379663

Both can work, and there’s more scrutiny required for both. But generally, a prayer outside oneself is more important, much more effective.

Why is Hebrew written from right to left? Thank you!

      • #379646

Hebrew is first of all a geometric representation of how the Lights enter the Vessel. And this occurs from Right to Left.

The ego is a slippery thing. I think that in many cases, it’s both consciously repressed, (because we like to fool ourselves into being better than we are), or unconsciously. In any case, it keeps us from properly receiving the Light. Is it a good prayer to ask the Creator to reveal our deficiency or should we just assume the ego is there and work on strengthening our intentions toward bestowal?

      • #379434

It’s best to work toward the good. So, try to reach spirituality. This, by contrast, reveals more of the ego. Only the revelation of evil (the ego) is missing since to the extent of one’s awareness of it, one can’t bear it, and has a true request for change.

Is there any significance to the blue and white color scheme of KabU and Bnei Baruch or is it just Ravs favorite colors?

      • #379223

There are spiritual roots to colors and their effect on us, as with everything. But that wasn’t foremost in the color scheme. Blue is simply a nice, neutral color.
