DonPartícipeHow do we know if we have a true hearts desire for the Creator rather than fooling ourselves?
- September 15, 2025 at 8:30 pm EDT #452886
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorDon,
We are not standing in place.
For example, we go to spiritual first grade and we perceive what we perceive on that level.
Then we grow up and realize that first grade is child’s play and what we believed there is not serious.
We have a new revelation, a new perception and a new work in spiritual second grade, and then we grow and realize that that too was child’s play, etc.

BASMAPartícipeHi ! If we only perceive the surface and there is a common reality hidden from our senses, is our reality made up of our beliefs?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorBasma,
Yes.
More accurately, reality is built based on our desires.

AmberPartícipeA group of us do these lessons together and a question came up as we were reading the Shamati :
What is the difference between a Kli and a Soul?
- August 14, 2025 at 9:44 pm EDT #449033
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorAmber,
The kli refers to the desire, usually the refers to behinat Dalet.
The soul is a kli, a desire to receive that is corrected by way of screen and reflected light and is then filled with inner light.

Guy
PartícipeTo know that there is nothing beside him and to tell ourselves that our work resides only in intention. How can we keep ourselves in action to reveal the creator in the corporeal world on a daily basis without adopting an attitude of passivity ?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorGuy,
This is an excellent question that each one asks himself, “If He is doing everything, then why don’t I just sit on the couch all day?”
The truth is that there are two things here. 1. He is doing everything. 2. He wants us to feel that without our efforts we won’t achieve anything.
It’s confusing, because in our world, we do efforts and expect to see results. In spirituality it is not so. In spirituality we do efforts not to get the results, but in order to feel that at the end of all of the efforts, without help from Above we cannot reach eternity.
The mind is not eternal and the Creator is eternal, so we can’t naturally understand Him with our mind, so this process accustom us to come close to Him correctly.
Read this response a few times, think about and write out those two conditions for yourself in your notebook and think about it.

Victoria TeasdalePartícipeSorry, I tried to edit to add but couldn’t. Also:
Is the general state of the soul of Adam Harishon related to the soul of individual man? (apologies if my words are incorrect). So the greater the distance between Adam and the creator, the grater the perceived distance between an individual and the creator. As the collective soul of humanity is uplifted the suffering on the individual level will be less?
- August 11, 2025 at 6:53 am EDT #448694
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorVictoria,
I don’t really understand your question, you are using words that we don’t understand yet together. The soul of Adam HaRishon is the collective, common soul. That is our soul, all of us, everyone. It was broken. Actually itself is not broken, but the connection between the pieces is broken and each one is covered in many layers of concealment and we all feel ourselves as individuals.
Advancing spiritually means that we are making more and more corrections to unite those pieces and if you make corrections in you, then that piece of you that exists in all others, like in a hologram, that piece is also corrected in them. And likewise as others correct their part, that part of them that is in you is also corrected and by this we are all helping each other, speeding up our development and moving the correction to internal, spiritual corrections instead of slow, painful corporeal corrections.

Victoria TeasdalePartícipeThank you for this course. Deep down I knew there was a way of looking at all sciences that would make them make sense.
My question is this. Some religions and movements have popularised the idea of ‘lesser’ beings, angels, demons etc. Am I right in thinking then that ‘there is none else besides him’ would mean that these are not a thing in spiritual reality? That the things we call demons are actually a part personification of internal psychological processes? And that people in the times of old scripture didn’t have the language to describe these things so used a kind of allegory?
Or is it a little more complicated than that but for now just trust it will be revealed in time?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorVictoria,
All of these things have a place, but the definitions that we heard prior to the wisdom of kabbalah are not the same definitions that the kabbalists write. First we need to learn that a kabbalist only writes from his attainment, there is no philosophy or theory about what any of the words mean or may mean.
You are correct that if everything is Him, meaning there is no force that can act against Him, then what are these other forces.
And for that, it will be helpful to begin to look at these words as kinds of forces, for example when the water falls on the earth we call it gravity. When the water rises from the earth we call it evaporation. Forces operate that cause things to rise and causes things to fall…in our world. Neither force is called good or bad, in fact they act together in harmony to keep the system in balance.
As we learn about the spritual system, we will encounter all kinds of forces, but there is no force that operates against Him, all of them extend from Him.
Anything that seems like it is against Him is a testament to our degree, how far we are that we feel that way, and anyone who wrote about a force that is against Him, it is a testament to their degree of attainment that they didn’t reach a degree where all is one.
