Niina KorpelaPartícipeWhy spirit said to me that Abraham still got the nature of God, then it was lost.
- December 1, 2024 at 12:15 pm EST #406907
Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Niina,
I cannot answer that.
If I was taking a cooking class and a tennis class, I can’t ask the tennis class instructor why my cooking instructor told me what they did.
It’s the same here. If you’re receiving guidance from other sources, you should ask them why they are guiding you that way. If you have questions about what we’re learning here, I’d be happy to answer them.

Niina KorpelaPartícipeThe only requirement for studying Kabbalah is a sincere desire to discover the meaning of life. Kabbalah studies how our life and our world have been created, and how to achieve connection with our life’s source, the totality of reality.
Never wanted or felt need to get so much well except one thing… to get know god, to get back to that light what I remember. And I did, its actual tantric way of journey the thing and magick in air to make your life to be magical. Trust that inner voice and light to guide, sometimes that inner light been total bitch putting me through desert but if I would not do that I would never met the pyramids, maybe still in desert as metaphor or in deep sea maybe just question of seen same “place” or space in different dimension or frequency or realm even. We have this moment ot make it to set tone of soul to sing and its something what I dont get in human mind why some one want sing and play and dance and praise in light. but unless its place there tone made to manifest what we call as life, then its good to keep that blessed feeling high. From oneness everything is inside the all or one and if that is like track how seen things then how seen world is different than carrying separation with you.

PartícipeGood morning. This teaching of Kabbalah, called ‘the Creator’ seems irreverent … I have heard and read that to study or to practice Kabbalah one does not need to believe God exists, however one does need to acknowledge the universe is the work of ‘the Creator’ who “does not signify a supernatural, distinct entity, but the next degree that a human being should reach when pursuing higher knowledge.” Who and what is ‘the creator’ ?

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Janice,
Kabbalah divides our research of the Creator into two parts:
The first is His essence (atzmuto in Hebrew). This is He Himself, His point of view, the Creator as an entity separate from the Created beings. We’re incapable of researching this part of the Creator because our research tools are not built in such a way that we can grasp such things. Perhaps after we finish the process of correction, we’ll discover additional research tools through which we’ll be able to research these things, but until then we limit ourselves and don’t talk about this part of the Creator because we cannot properly research it.
The other part of the Creator is called Bo-Re (Hebrew for Come (Bo) and See (Re)). This is the part of the Creator that we can research and reveal. How do we research this? Through the desire. When we take a part of our desire to receive and correct it in the direction of bestowal, in that corrected desire, we reveal a certain phenomenon, we call this phenomenon the Creator. This is why there are many names for the Creator (in Hebrew), since every time we correct a different part of the desire, we reveal a different aspect of this thing called the Creator.
So all of our understanding of this thing called the Creator (and any spiritual phenomena) is based on what we reveal within the corrected desire. But whatever exists outside of the corrected desire, whatever we don’t grasp, perceive or attain within the desire, whatever is beyond our tools of research, we don’t talk about. We need to keep these limits in mind in order to stay within the realm of science and not venture off into religion or philosophy.

PartícipeThank you. Your explanation “Kabbalah divides our research of the Creator into two parts” is helpful. He Himself is separate from Created beings and the revealed phenomenon an aspect of the Creator. At this time, unable to grasp His essence I can come to know Him, Bo-Re by His attributes.

Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Mitch,
When the point in the heart awakens, it pulls a person to the place where it can get realized. So when a person finds such a place, there is a certain inner resonance, a click where a person feels that he found the right place for himself.
So no one can tell you if this is the place for you or not, you need to feel it for yourself. This follows the rules that “there is no coercion in spirituality” and “one studies only where one’s heart desires”.

MelaniePartícipeAm I understanding this correctly? Humanity had ego from the beginning, but the ego didn’t hurt humanity. As the ego developed over the centuries it has basically taken over and distant us from the spiritual world. It is interesting that the ego became ripe just in 1995, and before that time the ego was pushing us to progress on the corporeal level, but stearing us away from the spiritual world. Does this mean that Kabbalah have the secret of how to work with the ego so that we can use it to our advantage?
- November 26, 2024 at 11:31 am EST #405888
Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Melanie,
Yes, you can say that. Kabbalah is the method by which we can correct our egoistic nature. And correcting the ego doesn’t mean we eradicate it. Rather it means that we rise above it.
The ego is like a mountain that we’re climbing towards spirituality. The bigger the desires, the higher we can climb, and the higher the spiritual degree that we can attain. On the other hand, if we were to eliminate our egoistic desires, then accordingly, we would only be able to attain a tiny degree of spiritual attainment.

Akosua MariePartícipeIt seems that Kabbalah was available only to one specific People: the Jewish people. Why is that? Why wasn’t it available to all people?
- November 26, 2024 at 11:28 am EST #405887
Albert – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Akosua Marie,
In the days of Abraham, before there was such a thing as Jewish people, there were simply different families and clans. At that time, Abraham assembled all of the people of his time who had active points in the heart. It’s those people that later became the Israeli nation. The word Israel comes from the Hebrew words “Yashar” “El” meaning straight to God. These are the people who had an active point in the heart in those days and were interested in revealing the Creator.
This group of points in the hearts was the one developing this method for thousands of years. They were preparing it specifically for our days, when the point in the heart begins to emerge in the rest of humanity. And now that the world is ready for it, this wisdom became revealed again and open for everyone.
