Seth, your response to Dana in terms of whatever we have, whatever qualities we have, whatever each and everyone of us has, is all perfect, predetermined. When I pray, I do thank Hashem for blessing me with loving and wise parents, older sister and little brother. At the age of 15, the life I knew was gone forever. Many times along the way, I have looked back at my life many times and I have wondered, “what if” this or that had not happened? Where would I have been? What would my life have looked like? I talk to myself a lot and I have imagined that if a “magician” would come up to me and tell me that I could enter a world of magic and go back in time to prevent that terrible accident, would I? My response to myself has been a “no,” because without understanding or even knowing about Kabbalah, my reasoning has been that everything that has happened in my life was for a reason; all the suffering and all the egoism. I have watched Tony’s video four times. I drew on a notebook that I have been keeping to take notes and I drew what he drew. His explanations followed with the illustrations has opened my eyes. I believe I understand Phases 1 through 3. I have followed the videos and the readings. However, my understanding was sketchy, bits and pieces. I believe I understand so much only as of today, the fourth time of watching Tony’s video and illustrations; drawing them in my notebook, making my own notes on the side. However, here I am and I do not know how to reach Malhut, see through the screen, perceive outside the box. What I do know is that through your teachings, my vessel will one day join the other vessels and together join other vessels and so on so that we can pursue the Thoughts of Creation and not the actions of the creature. I believe I have learned much today. However, I still live in the world of egoism awaiting to learn to cross the barrier.
Tony, thank you for your detailed illustrations and explanations regarding the Ten Sefirot and The Screen. I am understanding and thank you for your summaries. They are very helpful. It is not easy, almost impossible to understand Kabbalah just by reading books. I am understanding on a different level as you guide us. I feel that I am at the edge or tip of Phase 3. If that were to be so, how will I know that I will be approaching Phase 4? I understand it is not a “one step” ahead. It is a long journey. Thank you.
“At the end of the journey, you can become a Kabbalist, able to live both in this world and the spiritual world at the same time.” Is it possible to become a Kabbalist in this life time – to live both in this world and the spiritual world at the same time – or is this sentence describing what is going to happen “in the end” when the vessel becomes like the Creator? Thank you

Every creature is an egoist. Most people feel pleasure from receiving and there is a small percentage of people who feel more pleasure from giving. But all of them are egoists.
On the other hand, bestowal of the Creator is something that is supernatural. It is not in our power to give, to bestow like He does.
It is impossible for us to do anything without self-benefit.
That is the nature of His giving. He gives unconditionally.
The wisdom of kabbalah is the method to draw the Reforming Light that will correct our will to receive and we receive a second nature from above.

Thank you u for being there and answering our questions. It really helps seeing everyone questions and your answers.
My question is possibly one of faith/trust. At times I understand intuitively that reading text with intention and not understanding it enables insights and feelings to emerge in me. Bu at times I struggle with this practice and wander to myself am I crazy. Just so caught up in my own desire / need that I am delusional. Please help.Thank you

First of all, part of our study is that it feels out of reach. This is like a small child who is learning to walk and the parent takes a step back to enable the child to take another step and thus learn to walk.
As grown adults we are doing this as a conscious process. We recognize each time that we feel empty again and the Light is first making a new, larger vessel, which is empty and feels like emptiness and then after that fills the larger vessel and then this happens again until we complete our correction.
This happens to us through a long slow process of problems and wars or quickly through working together in the group of kabbalists and drawing the light and going through these degrees consciously and in a faster pace.
Of course we are caught up in our desires, this is what causes us to feel empty.
If you identify with your desires, it’s a never ending black hole.
Just deal with your desires normally, we don’t deliberate over these neurotically. Work, live a healthy life, take care of your family and all of that is what a normal creature must do. It is totally normal that all kinds of thoughts and desires arise in us for simple things like more money to all kinds of things that we can’t believe we are thinking those things.
We leave that alone. And above all of those desires we study, we read, we pray and we connect.
And those desires become like waves that you are riding.
So being crazy is not going to help you or anyone.
Being a craftsman of the soul is where you need to be.
