Hi All,

I am Kerry.  I have taken a rather circuitous spiritual journey beginning with Reform Judaism in my early years, then leaving religious practices for a while.  In 1999, I took the MBSR course from a very gifted teacher, which led to some study of Kabbalah through Rabbi David Cooper’s books, lectures, then Mahamudra meditation.  Recently exploring work of John Vervaeke, reading about Neoplatonism, which led me back here to more study of Kabbalah.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Hi, my name is Peter from Los Angeles, CA in the United States. I’ve actually been studying Kabbalah since 2010. However, my studies have been through the Kabbalah Centre in Los Angeles. When I started learning in person there, I was also taking the online course from here when it was called Baruch Benei (sp?). I loved the teachings here back then. And after all these years, I want to be reignited and re-enlightened with the Kabbalah studies here!

I’m Henrik, from Sweden. I didn’t come to the spiritual path out of curiosity — I came because life-threatening suffering forced me to look for answers at an early age.

It started with Eastern philosophy, and the first real breakthrough came when I began to grasp, intellectually, non-duality. At the age of 30, I was placed in a 12-week facility for alcohol addiction. There I was introduced to the 12 steps, and I started seeing connections to the Eastern path I already knew. That made me curious about the symbolism of the Bible — and I began to see that it, too, spoke the language of non-duality. Not the way religion tried to explain it, which never made much sense to me.

Through synchronicity I came across A Course in Miracles — and it probably saved my life. And from there, something became clear: the pure essence of the 12 steps, the Course, and the teachings of Jesus is Kabbalah. I’ve been studying it on my own ever since, and for a while now I’ve felt the pull to go deeper.

I know, deep down, that this is not my first lifetime on this path. Through all my suffering, I’ve always known there’s another level to this game of life. Not as something I figured out — more like something I’m remembering, and haven’t finished remembering yet.

Hi! I’m Gabriela from Romania. I’ve been studying Kabbalah on my own for some time. I signed up for this course because I know that to evolve, one must be with others, just as Kabbalah teaches us.
