Preparation Question: How can we get in touch with the upper force and act with it mutually?

From what I’ve learned, understood, and experienced so far, we can get in touch with the upper force by learning to receive correctly—that is, with the intention to bestow rather than to fulfill our own desires.

As I understand it, this means transforming our intention so that everything we receive is received for the sake of the Creator, rather than for our own benefit. Importantly, we should receive only to the extent that we can genuinely maintain this intention to bestow.

The mutual relationship between ourselves and the Creator is one of giving and receiving. The Creator bestows, and we receive with the intention of giving back to the Creator. Through this mutual exchange, we move toward an increasingly profound and potentially infinite sense of fulfillment.

However, I believe there is a critical distinction: we must not receive with the intention of achieving that pleasure or fulfillment for ourselves. Rather, the pleasure arises naturally as a consequence of receiving for the sake of bestowal. Our intention must remain focused on giving, and the extent of our reception must be limited by our ability to maintain that intention.

In this way, spiritual advancement involves not simply receiving more, but developing a greater capacity to receive with the genuine intention to bestow.

First, acknowledge that we are designed with a will to receive.  Second, we must be aware that our will to receive can be transformed from a will to receive for selfish purposes, (egoism), into a desire to receive with the intention to share with others, (altruism).  When the point in the heart begins to be awakened, we will eventually be brought to the realisation that our desire is to express the Creator’s desire to share with us.  As this awareness matures and deepens, we can naturally begin to interact cooperatively with the upper force.

We get in touch with the creator when we have a point in the heart, expressed as a desire to study Kabbalah. We learn Kabalistic altruism from the writings of Baal HaSulam, Rabash, and Rav Laitman. We practice altruism in an “altruism laboratory” with friends.

By correcting our desires and the will to receive with altruistic intentions. I don’t really know exactly how to do it mutually….. this second part eludes me but I imagine that as we correct our desires with altruistic intentions, this will affect our reality because it will affect our environment for the better.
