If all my actions and thoughts are given by the Creator and are not something I generate independently or possess as my own to return, then what remains for me to offer? Is my attitude—the inner response I cultivate toward Him—the only true gift I have?

There’s None Else Besides Him, but it doesn’t cancel your work. With what He gives you, and how you respond, you show your attitude to Him – when you work with your heart, your thoughts, and what you do.

Hi Gianni, itś been said that in each day, as we wake up, we have to „choose our friends“ again, trying to form the correct intention to turn to them. I am wondering now about two things. What happens when we sleep? Why do we loose the connection then? And more importantly- how comes we feel love for friends as being something natural?  Is the love we feel for the friends grace given from above, or is it the result of of trying to form the correct desire for connection and intention to bestow on the friends? And how can it be so strong, when we meet people only virtually? How can it be so different from corporeal sensations?

        Hi Verena,

We have work towards sleep as well. We can go to sleep with the right thoughts, and then both what happens during the night and the morning will be closer to spirituality.

To the second question, habit becomes second nature, so if I’ve done the right work toward the Creator, through the friends, then that place becomes the vessel in which His quality of love is revealed. If I haven’t done this work but I feel love for them, then it’s only an example that that can exist, so later we will work toward it, and then it won’t yield just good impressions but the Creator.

      Dear Gianni,

Help me understand- when Rabash writes about “receiving reward in this world and in the next world”, what is meant by “the next world”? Is it referring to what comes after crossing the Mahsom or is it just some imaginary notion that people who want a reward pacify themselves with (like Heaven and Hell)?

      Thank you ❤️

      Hello teachers!

When in my ten I can contain myself and annul before my friends desires, attitudes and so on. I accept it all believing it is coming from the Creator for my correction. I pray even from my egoistic state wanting to raise above my ego and wishing whatever not nice sensation I have, to dissipate soon. It does dissipate, very soon, most of the time. And I feel grateful to be in a great ten!

Now, when I am outside this environment, interacting with others, lets say family for example, the same sensations come but, they do not dissipate so fast. And I do pray and ask for help. This causes an imbalance in my system which affects then all of my thoughts, my sleep and actions.

How can Kabbalah help me to balance this?

      Thank you!

Assuming you’re operating according to the generally accepted conducts and laws of our world, correcting oneself in the ten has a global effect – because my internality is the root of all that happens.

I can’t find the connection of unity יחד and Jew יהודי it seems there is no relation in the root. Am i missing something ? Can i have a source reference please.  Much thanks!

While this association is strewn all across the writings of Kabbalists, more than the apparent phonetic and conceptual link, I doubt we’ll find elaboration on this connection in the sources. Even stranger associations between words that ordinary linguists would not make are found in the writings of Kabbalists, and until one attains those roots on their own, the option is to believe or not believe in the sages.

I choose the sages, i was just surprised with this one, how can i explain that to someone who looks at the hebrew for truth. But it’s not there, Maybe there is a gematria to it, but, ill just look at it like, “later, i will understand”.

Im reminded of something from the talmud (i think) i could be saying it wrong, but something like, one sage says right is right but 1000 say right is left, we believe them over the one. Maybe you remember more than me…

If we go to all the sages, we won’t be able to advance at all. The important thing is that whoever studied under that one sage with whom a thousand disagreed, his advancement would be utterly determined by his accepting what his teacher said, and not on his own exegesis. That’s how this works. I chose my place of study, I accept everything as-is. I can choose another place, but whichever I choose, I have to accept wholesale – even if the teacher’s teachings seem to contradict others.

Will there a be a point in development, when bestowal becomes a second nature, when it doesńt ask active restriction of the will to receive , and that natural egoism, all the time anymore? I am asking because I feel like it says,… a „natural“ egoist. Not that I like it… it’s kind of humbling to see that structure and acknowledge it. Is there a way to get over that? Is it done by focussing on the well-being and development of the friends? By not giving attention so much anymore as to what the „I“ demands? Or will it be constant struggle?

Every moment is new, a different level of coarseness in the desire, over which to elevate the Point in the Heart. When all the coarseness is risen above, it becomes permanent.
