ParticipantI am so excited to be in this course. Thank you for the privilege to learn this language and its significance. Question: I have seen, for instance in the four phases of creation the use of 0,1,2,3,4. In our homework the Gematria lists the corresponding values to the alphabet, but 0 is not used as a separate value, Alef being 1. What is the significance of that? Is this related to 0 being the Ein Sof and therefore not corresponding to anything here in the corporeal world? Also, where do we address the homework assignment, is there a place to upload or do we respond in a chat forum? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

ParticipantThe “tip of the yod” (a dot with no size dimensions) is equated with the beginning point of creation and might be said to equate with the zero. Dr. Benzi doesn’t talk much about this connection with the zero in the course, though. I suggest bringing this question up in the Wed. seminar. If the instructor doesn’t have an answer for you that is more complete, perhaps she can take the question to Dr. Benzi.
Regarding the homework: you should bring your homework to the Wed seminars. The instructions should go over it there and answer any questions that you have about it.
Enjoy your study! We are glad that you are here.

ParticipantThank you dear Rivka!
I’ll let my friends know, and they will look forward in joy. Maybe even myself I will start anew. It’s much more joyful to learn in a crew.
Thank you all, and of course our teacher in the first place, for such a beautiful occasion to study the holy language together!
Greetings!
Eberhard
