    Hello,

My name is Phillip.  I am American, but I am now retired from the southern coast of Africa.  The were here is (per Guinness) like Hawaii.  I can’t disagree.  I have taken a number of Hebrew courses, and of course, at Shul.  But I always wanted to go deeper.  not just know how to say the words, but their Spiritual meaning.  I hold to the position that no letter in TaNak is there by coincidence.  I do not believe in coincidence, but rather consequences which are of our doing.

If  you havea box of crayons can create ‘Black by using all the colors.  But as you said black is the absence of colour.  You then said black is all colors.  I don’t believe so.  The two statements are contradictory.  All colorus = White.  We use a prism to break them apart (refractions).  The sun we see  it on earth, is yellow. It is only yellow because of our atmosphere.  In space it is white. You can test this but it is dangerous.  Looking briefly at the sun when it is overhead (low atmospheric interference) it is white.  Same with the full moon when it rises. it is red. but over head that same night it becomes much smaller and it white.

I’m Phillip (Natan) originally from the USA.  Now retired to the bottom of the S. Africa Continent along the always warm Indian Ocean, 2nd best temperate area in the world after Hawaii (According to the Guinness World Book of Records). I am part of the larest Jewish Community in the world (By area)  We have one Rabbi (R. Moshe Silberhaft who manages all countries in Africa south of the Equator.  Jews here are like chilies on a vegan pizza.  You can’t see us but you know when you have met us. S. Africa is anti-Israel, so we are beginning to feel the pinch a bit.

I am interested in learning more about the spiritual side of Hebrew.
