ParticipantI have learned over these 5 weeks , that all human actions are fundamentally motivated by personal preservation and avoidance of pain.
Without ” sovereign power”, humans would exist in perpetual war against all, because their competing egoistic desires.
We all should focus on common good,” universal benevolence”, that we owe the world. I promise to treat myself with same benevolence, as I owe the world.
My personal growth is a necessary part of the world’s preservation.

NicoleParticipantAs I watched the final video of week 5 about the equivalence of form, I felt a sense of understanding that is somewhat beyond words. You gave the example of the carpenter whose intention/blueprint is always felt in the table and chair he has built. I got a deep a-ha knowing about the equivalence of form from this example. I sense knowing/understanding/trusting the intention/blueprint of the creator is the key. I think about Bereshit in  Genesis, and the repetition of the words about God creating the world “and God saw that it was good.” Again words are limited, yet I felt an understanding.

GregParticipantThe sixth sense that we need to develop is the  intention of  the will to bestow. I look forward to learning  on how to develop this  intention as well as the tools.

Yvette LanausseParticipantThe fact that we have to be aware of our feeling states and how they work in our relationship with others. Our motivation and attitudes are the determining factors in equivalence of form.
