A very interesting lesson. It made me think of Keter and faith as its very foundation of the upper and lower worlds. We do not realize that accepting this world is an act of faith but a wrong one, the right one is faith in the Creator.

Is reincarnation a part of this system?  Do Kabbalists believe the soul develops over lifetimes? .  And if not what about children that pass at a young age.   I’m finding it very difficult in the world today with wars etc and so many dying.  Is there the belief that a soul  re-enters the world with more opportunity to reach this point?  I’m not sure if I missed this part at any point.

        Rita,

Yes it is emotionally difficult to reconcile what we see and feel with a Creator whose name is the Good who Does Good.

That is correct.  And we need to face this as honest people.  Specifically from these two opposites we will build a correct perception of the world.

The Kabbalists spend a lot of time dealing with the one soul of Adam HaRishon that is shattered and its incarnations and corrections through the generations.

In the upcoming curriculum we will study the article “The Peace” by the huge Kabbalist Baal HaSulam where he writes that: The same souls that existed in the generation of the Flood later appeared in the generation of the Tower of Babylon….and it is the very same soul that exists in us

It’s a hint but we can start to feel what kind of development process we are in.

What are the dangers of no spiritual correction whilst being aware of the concept of the creator? Some practices such as buddhism believe that there is nothing to be corrected. They don’t change their nature but rather just accept everything that they are and continue living. They are aware that the ego is a barrier from the true self but they don’t adopted the qualities of the creator, so equivalence of form doesn’t exist to them. I’m just curious on what consequences that type of practice has on ones life.

I was aware of the concept of oneness and the illusion of the ego but was taught that nothing matters and that morality and humility are egoic concepts. Buddhism and Eastern teaching did open the door way for my curiosity about reality but left me empty and heartless. Life felt meaningless. But Kabbalah has opened my heart again and my curiosity for Gods nature has never been so high. I am grateful for this wisdom and cant wait to learn more.

        Jacob,

There are many secrets and mysteries in how a baby develops in his mother’s womb.  A single cell divides and a within few weeks his heart begins to form. After that little buds appear that will be arms and legs. So many systems and the order that they develop it’s all a very complex system that stems from the upper spiritual system.
Our soul develops in a similar way. The development of the soul is the blueprint for the bay’s development.

Our work is to make the wisdom of Kabbalah a available to everyone so that when the desire in a person awakens, when that tiny spark from above awakens, then a person has a place to find those answers, a place to nourish his soul.

There is no kind of judgement so to speak for a person who doesn’t know or doesn’t feel a need for this.  If the desire has not developed in them, or using our example, how can an undeveloped baby be responsible for something he has no control over.
Only after the point in our heart awakens and we are brought from above  to the spiritual environment, then it is incumbent upon us to grow and nourish that desire so that our soul can grow from a drop of sperm so to speak into the complete NRNHY of his soul.

I know this isnt about this week but i was just curious what kabbahala says about music and certain types of films i.e horror films is there anytthing thats considered evil or wrong also societal things, like cursing/swearing

      • #488299

        Yeabsera,
The wisdom of kabbalah is filled with music.  Music conveys emotions without having to go through the mind.
So what a person feels is what he can communicate in his music.  There is a big world in front of us regarding what we will be able to communicate through music.
Regarding horror movies, etc. all of these are expressions of the shattered vessel.  A person who is correcting himself communicates things from the corrected world, he can use all kinds of stories and examples, even serious and extreme ones to convey, but the intention and the message is for connection, love, integrality, harmony between people.

“all worlds and all created beings, except for the Creator, are a single Malchut entity, meaning the root or the original Source of all beings. Malchut eventually fragments into many small parts of itself. The total of the constituent parts of Malchut is known as “Shechina.””

Is Malchut the same as Adam HaRishon? Is there a relationship between the two? What are these “constituent parts”?

      Thank you 🙏

        Steven,
You can be a father and a son.
Those are different roles, but they are both you.
So when we have different names for things that seem the same, first of all we need to understand if they are the same, but after that, we need to discern deeper what is happening there.
Malchut refers to the entire creation, the will to receive on all the desires of coarseness that was created.
The soul of Adam HaRishon is the structure of the that Malchut in the world of Atzilut where the light dwells in the vessel prior to the shattering … and then again later after the correction.

I just took the knowledge check and was surprised that the answer to the question, “Which best defines reality outside a person’s perception according to Kabbalah?” was, “There is no reality outside of a person’s perception.”  Can you elaborate?  This confused me as my understanding of the material was that all of objective reality is outside of our subjective perception.

      • #486889

        Wilson,
From the side of the Upper Light, there are no changes.  Everything is whole, complete, integral, one simple unity.
Everything else in reality is based on the nature of that creature.
There are creatures that live at the bottom of the ocean and perform a purpose in the harmonious system of nature.   They live under extreme physical pressure that would crush a human and near freezing termperatures.  But for them, that is a normal day’s work.
Can you explain to that creature that there is a comfortable life on a couch in a warm apartment watching a good movie, eating some popcorn and a refreshing drink?

How about people who watch only news that leans to the left vs. people who watch only news that leans to the right.  These people seem like they live on different planets from each other, that the other one is lost, confused, maybe even supporting “murder”, etc.

One more example, when we fall in love, traffic doesn’t bother us, everything is sunny and beautiful, alternatively when we feel depressed, everything bothers us.
All the changes are in the person and the changes in our inner nature will depict a totally different world on the outside.
If it’s not clear, ask further.
        Seth@KabU
