      Seth,

When you say that “from the side of the creature, from the vessel, it is a step by step process in order that the creature will feel itself as independent”, is this the creature independently thinking or is it the Creator’s doing.?  I am very green in the subject of Kabbalah. I apologize if my question seems silly.

        Nancy,
As a kabbalist we have to get used to holding two opposites in our hands.
On the one side we have what we perceive and we have to live with that, this is how the Creator made it and it is made this way on purpose.  So we feel that it is us learning to walk, it is us learning to ride a bike, it is us learning math and building relationships.
We will discover that it is all Him.  No one will leave a baby laying on the floor, the parents will teach her to walk, so did the baby have a choice?  And also, it’s built into each of us that we start lifting our head and eventually crawling and then pulling ourselves up, so even without anyone around, our nature pushes us to get up.
And in each and everything we will discover that I had to do every action, to feel that it is in my efforts to do, but I realize in the end that He did everything.
Imagine children playing on the beach.  They feel free in the sand and running back and forth to the water.  But who is watching over them, the parents.  Who dressed them in the morning, the parents, everything is thanks to the parents, but the children feel independent, absorbed in their play.
        We are the same.

      Is the spiritual world supernatural?

      • #412976

        Gates,
        It seems that way.
We are living in our current nature.
The nature of the spiritual world is a different nature that we can say is “out of this world”.
It is not an earthly nature, it is spiritual in nature, different laws completely.

Have we the creature obtained a certain level already? Or does every new soul even after 1995 have to go through all these stages in one lifetime?

I’m sorry but I did’t get HOW to build the screen, the additional sense.

      • #412628

        Cabinet,
The screen is something that comes from above, meaning that it is a natural process in our spiritual development.
However, unlike hunger or puberty which we don’t need to do anything in order for those natural processes to develop, regarding spirituality, we need to develop our desire for it as it says, there is no light without a kli, so our work is in again and again renewing the importance of spirituality, more and more drawing the reforming lights that surround our soul through the study of the books of the kabbalists and the work in the kabbalistic group.

Okay, this is where I am struggling to understand things:

If Creation started with “The Thought of Creation”, I assume the Thinker in this context is G_D.

Neuroscientists have shown us that we are not the creator of our own thoughts, because they see brain activity before there is awareness of the thought.

We, creatures, cannot give either, because reception is our substance (will to receive).

So, we are not in control of many things.

When I am reading that understanding Kabbalah depends on our intention? What is INTENTION, and do we have control over that?

        Mark,
We are a desire to receive.
That is the only thing that the Creator created.
And not only us.  All of creation is made of one single matter, that matter is the ‘will to receive pleasure’.
Over billions of years the will to receive pleasure has developed according to four phases (yud-hey-vav-hey), they are:
        inanimate
        vegetative
        animate
        speaking

On the previous three stages of development, there is only the will to receive pleasure.
On our degree, the speaking degree, we desire to receive pleasure at the expense of others.  That is our intention, our intention is not simply to receive, but each one’s intention is that he wants to receive at the ether’s expense.
This is how nature developed us and we don’t have control over that.

We suffer from bestowing upon others, but the Creator enjoys from bestowing,
He gets pleasure from bestowing.  We should be like Him.
We should get pleasure from bestowing.
So we ask Him to change our heart, to be in equivalence of form with Him.
Place in our heart the intelligence to do all the words of your Torah with love, not by coercion.

If I see everything that happens in my reality as a gift from the creator  (“the friend that cooks my meal”) than developing a sixth sense would be  accepting  everything that happens to me for  pleasing the creator. And this concept of acceptance keeps showing everywhere in all spiritual readings.                              My question is how do you  find your sixth sense when your reality sucks?          I understand how to accept pleasure with the intention of pleasing the giver but how does it work when nothing good comes your way and your cup is always empty(no exterior source to fulfill any of your desires) ?

      • #411489

        Adi,
First of all, if for example you are eating cakes and soda all day and all night and wondering why you don’t feel good and have teeth problems then you don’t need to look at the Creator, you need to look at the cake and soda situation.
Now this is a simple example, but let’s divide things and put them in their correct place.
We need to arrange our life on earth in a regular and comfortable way.  We will see through this earthly existence many many spiritual discernments, but first of all, we need to arrange it so we take care of ourselves like all creatures must take care of themselves.
If we saw a bird in nature sitting all day doing nothing, we’d say that he’s not a healthy bird.
Now, beyond the normal animal needs of a person, let’s turn to the deeper things.
First of all, you found the authentic sources of kabbalah.  Read them.  Make a time, even 15 mins a day and read the sources you find in our courses.
And pray all the time.  It means, speak directly to the Creator like He is your best friend.  Tell Him what is bothering you and tell Him that you need His help.
Get in the habit of turning to Him in your heart.
I think things will get better for you.
        Good luck,
        Seth@KabU

I am a little confused about your recommendations for prayers and talking to God.

If we do not have free will and all that happens to us is predestined, praying would be just telling God that I don’t like what his plans were for me and I want them changed.Plus I cannot see God as a friend I see the Creator as energy, the (+) component of the initial light.
