Preparation Question: What does it mean to connect with others? In what desire are we connected?

We can connect in different ways; energetically, be an active listener, having mutual interests and of course virtually. We are all connected in our desire to receive.

What does it mean to connect with others?

We are already connected.  Connecting with others means becoming aware of the deeper connection that already exists and consciously choosing to place one’s attention on this connection.

In what desire are we connected?

This is a deep question.  Are we truly connected by desire?  If so, it would most certainly be the desire given to us by the Creator.   Kabbalah says we were all created with a desire to receive and that we are learning to be like the Creator by building a desire to receive in order to bestow.

It feels like all expressions of desire have reception and bestowal as their root but in varying degrees. After much contemplation, I don’t think I am ready to answer this question yet.

Connecting with others means in my experience, turning from how can I get from this to how can I do my best to give to you, internally it’s something that shifts, and once it did for me it felt as if my comrades were with me within

Connecting with others means feeling them as if they are me. To feel deep inside their pain as if it is mine, and their joys as mine. To see that we are all the cells of the same body working for a purpose. Sustaining life and all the experiences that come with it.

Connecting with others happens when you are on the same “wave-length” or “vibration”. In Kabbalah connecting with others is working in conjunction for a common goal. Also, loving your friend as yourself. We connect in the desire of climbing the spiritual ladder, learning the wisdom of Kabbalah, sharing the love we have for each other.

through soul connection, that is; embracing others in your own field of energy as they were parts of yourself.
