This was in order to become independent from the Creator and have a free choice to make a conscious effort towards spiritual development.

First we must learn the other levels, still, vegetative, animate, in order to function in this world. Survival of the body is necessary first with recognition of the egoistic pleasures first. Only then are we able to discern a difference between corporeal necessity, the limitations of egoistic pleasure, and a desire for something more, spirituality.

We needed to be born to receive only to receive in order to learn how to reach equivalent of form. Only by being completely separate from the creator do we learn to become like this force. We must develop our will power to receive in order to bestow.

the limitation on spiritual perception at birth enables humans to develop a genuine connection with the divine through their own efforts, making the journey more significant and the ultimate reunion more fulfilling.
