The advice is for a person to choose to be in an environment where they can receive this guidance. By working with the right books and the right teachers in order to receive these answers, the reforming light begins to work on a person and brings them closer to the purpose of creation. This is a natural force that operates according to our desire to grow and become like the Creator.
In truth, it is completely normal to not know what you want or whether you are on the right path. But one who wishes to receive these answers from the Creator, and doesn’t deviate to all sorts of other directions, will eventually understand what they must do in this life in order to approach the spiritual world.
