Thank you for this lesson. Truly, for years I’ve been yearning, searching and unconsciously praying for clarity on the laws and ways of life and I feel I’m extremely close with what I’m learning here. Thank you. I’ve got 3 questions:

Is Roshimot (the rememberances) something that happens naturally from Mitzvot working on us?

is Roshimot remembrance of being Adam Ha (I forgot the name)?

Is Roshimot something that we consciously do?

Do the 613 desires have any relationship with the 613 laws of Moses?

      Thank you KabU!🙏🏾

        Hi Sean,

The reshimot are our spiritual genes. Just like when we investigate our corporeal genes, we reveal our entire ancestry, where we came from, as well as the reasons for our inclinations, tendencies, etc. Similarly, the reshimot are our spiritual genes. They are all the states that we have gone through and all the states that we will need to go through in the future.

In other words, they detail the process we need to undergo starting from the initial thought of creation all the way until the end of correction. Essentially our entire path of development is preset in these reshimot. So all the forms we need to evolve through and all the desires that will awaken in us is also preset there. The only choice we have is in the pace we go through it. It’s like all of life is one big strip of film or a movie reel. Every new moment is a new frame, a new reshimot is shown to us. And we cannot change the movie at all, but only to fast forward or go one frame at a time.

As for the 613 desires, there are 613 spiritual desires and corresponding to each desire is a law, an inner process by which we extract the reforming light and correct that desire. Keep in mind that when Kabbalists talk about these laws or commandments, they are not referring to the actions that a religious person performs with his hands and feet, but rather they are talking about the inner process of correcting those desires.

      What is NRNHY ??

      Could not comrehend.

      • #319023

        Hi Catherine,

NRNHY is an acronym for Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Haya, Yechida. These are the names of the lights that enter into the spiritual desire. There are five of them because there are five levels of the spiritual desire. Each level of desire has a corresponding light that enters it.

I wish to ask, how to match our intention and that of the Creator. Or what is the secret to have the same intention with the Creator?

I understand the screen in theory, but I can’t do it. It’s your intention that creates this right? also im only half way through attaining the worlds beyond. Thats where im at

        Hi Daniel,

Yes, you can say that the screen is the intention. How do we implement it practically? What are we intending with our intention? To bestow like the Creator. In order to bestow, we need someone to bestow to. Since the Creator is concealed, we cannot bestow to Him directly. Instead, we need to practice bestowal on other people. But since there is a rule that “there is no coercion in spirituality”, we cannot just practice this with just anyone, we need others who have the same goal as us. Meaning others with a point in the heart that are together with us in the Kabbalistic group. So in order to build an intention for bestowal like the Creator, we need to practice it with others in the Kabbalistic group.

We’ll learn how to do this practically in the more advanced semesters where everyone will receive their own Kabbalah group with whom they can implement these things.

I have two points and I’m here to understand not to debate. You mentioned that to power besides him , which means everything in this world is performed by his power so how do you explain the crimes and killing? Is the creator responsible of that? in case yes so he’s criminal if no that means he’s not governing the world .second point you explained that  our suffering is created as a result of the difference between our thoughts and the creator thoughts  and based on these two points if the creator is responsible of everything and he has a plan for us so what is the purpose of creating us, and what is the purpose on working on improving our lives?

        Hi Malak,

        1. We learn from the Kabbalists that every single moment comes to us directly from the Creator, this is called “there is none else besides Him”. Furthermore, they also say that He is the “good that does good”. Meaning that every moment He is sending us nothing but goodness. Why then don’t we see this in our world? Why don’t we feel everything that is happening as something good?

This is because our world is governed by our egoistic nature. This egoistic nature is opposite to the Creator’s nature. Because of that, it inverts the Creator’s goodness into something bad. It’s just like multiplying numbers, a positive times a negative equals negative.

So as long as we remain within this egoistic nature, we will continue to see and feel more suffering and horrors in the world. But if we correct our nature to be similar to the Creator’s nature, we will reveal the true reality in which only goodness exists and that our previous egoistic state was nothing more than a dream.

        2. The purpose of creation is to raise us to the highest and best possible state, to become similar to the Creator. Why do we need to be created in this opposite, shattered, egoistic state? Because it’s a vital part of our development, without which we would be unable to develop and reach that purpose. It’s just like with kids. We don’t just give them a completed jigsaw puzzle. On the contrary we take it and break it down into many pieces. Then in the process of them putting it together, they grow and develop. Same with us.
