ChrisParticipantCuriosity and the fear of missing out are strong egoistic drives that compel us to act. If we knew what was concealed, we would have no desire to act.

ParticipantJust as we conceal a present to a friend in lovely and intriguing gift wrap, so does the Bestower conceal the Present in an enigmatic cloud of attractive mystery, hiding the meaning of the moment so that we’ll be happily surprised when it is finally revealed.

Sol BeloParticipantIf something is hidden, like Kabbalah used to me, no one knew about it except the privileged initiates. Kabbalah intrigued me because of my fervent persistent search for the meaning and true aspect of existence. I never knew it was hidden till your video.

W Kabu 10-JoyParticipantAn unwrapped gift may be held in a plain cardboard box, which might make it seem like what is inside is mundane, something that can wait to be opened. But if the gift is wrapped with beautiful outside wrappings, with color-coordinated bows, cards, etc., it makes it seem like something of value is inside. With humans, the outside trappings can be deceptive, with the less “sparkly” person easier to ignore or pass over; whereas the one with a “shiny” personality attracts more attention. Often, it is the quiet and “unseen” people who contain the greatest gifts inside them.
