My name is Misty and I want to reach higher spiritual heights.  I tried learning Hebrew on my own and was unsuccessful.  I have a burning desire to come closer to my heritage.  Although I’m African American on the outside.  I know from my encounter with the upper world that inside I have Jewish soul.

Hello, I’m Chike from Brookline, MA, USA. I’m excited to be part of this Hebrew class as I deepen my connection with the Creator and expand my ability to serve others through learning Hebrew and studying the Torah. In my work with people in recovery, I’ve come to recognize that the power of the 12 Steps is deeply rooted in the Torah—especially in the practice of Teshuvah.
