I can connect with the upper force (Creator) by changing my intentions first then I will begin to discover that things around me are changing because of this new way of thinking about self and the world around me. Knowing that the Creator desires for me to receive pleasure (not as in the pleasure of the world) allows me to understand that the processes I go through line up with the Laws and principles. Therefore, I must try to correct my way of thinking so that I can continue to connect on each level.
By climbing the ladder consisting of 125 steps.
As far as I have understood, the 125 steps are nothing but degrees of the relationship between egoistic and altruistic intentions. We can only understand things by contrasting them to their opposite.
So, we start by comparing our egoistic intentions with the altruistic intentions of the Creator in a given situation. In order to understand “what the Creator was thinking”. Then, we add to our egoistic desire a Masach (screen) which is an altruistic intention.
As far as I have understood, we cannot just replace all of our egoistic intentions with altruistic ones. The reason is that we want to discover and attain the ultimate altruistic thought in all of its details and all of its various denominations, first. So, we begin by adding an altruistic intention that is only about 1/125 of what is actually possible.
Through that, the Creator reveals himself, and as soon as he conceals himself again, we can start discovering again. This time, we will become able to add 2/125 altruistic intention of what is possible.
There are several steps but first we have to have intention and desire to want to give or bestow as the Creator does. We start to feel the righteousness of this and want to think like, or know the thoughts of, the Creator. As our point of the heart grows and as we equalize with nature we do so with the Creator also becoming equivalent in form.
By acting in bestow kindness and love the creator, by being in his likeness, sees favor in us and cradles us in his glory. As long as we stay on course we should continue to feel his presence. We can become a vessel of his giving work and spread his endless warm light. All we need to do is be giving and have faith and understand everything happens for a reason. Even our downfalls help us grow and are a part of life. For without them  we would have no incentive to grow. The kingdom of God is inside and all around you.
