      Dharana, a Sanskrit term meaning “collection or concentration of the mind (joined with the retention of breath)”, or “the act of holding, bearing, wearing, supporting, maintaining, retaining, keeping back (in remembrance), a good memory.” But you could just as well say Taqwa (in Arabic) or Devekut (in Hebrew).  Some scientists today are calling this “The flow state,” rf. the book FLOW by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
