    Hi Jarrett,

In general, this applies to our egoistic eyes and our mind which serves the egoistic desire which sees everything through the quality of reception and not through the quality of the Creator. This essentially means we’re slandering the Creator all the time. There’s a difference doing it without knowing and doing it knowingly. When we’re aware of it, we at least have to opportunity to notice and aim to want something else. This “recognition of evil” is how we gradually come to despise the quality of reception and cry out for the opposite. It’s all part of the program.

    Thanks!

    Hey mrc,

Our natural desire will always be against acquiring the quality of bestowal, that’s for sure. This is exactly why we need to find an environment that will push us towards a desire that is unnatural to us – if the society holds that quality in high regard, and I hold the society in high regard, I will want what they want. This is how it works and it’s why Kabbalists operate this way.

    Thanks!

    Hi Humehr,

This is something we learn through experience. Each attempt at trying to do this action or scrutinize what it mean, peeling apart this concept and delving deeper into it brings us clarity. You don’t need to recite prayers or any mantra and using “Sefirot” has nothing to do with our imagination. All of it will become clear if you’re able gradually come closer to rising above the ego. That’s it. Kabbalah is essentially saying the same thing over and over, just with slightly different flavors and words: perception of this world means I’m using my ego to interpret everything, perception of the spiritual means I’m acquired the quality of nature and act accordingly.

Opening the heart is another way of saying you care about others more than yourself. This is how the upper force behaves and so it’s how we want to behave so we can identify with it, become similar to it and work in partnership. This is our ultimate fulfillment but it’s also against our given nature. This is why it’s hidden from us and it’s why our logical brain doesn’t work to our benefit. Opening the heart is bringing the emotion into the driver’s seat and trying to “feel” our way around.

    Best of luck, thanks!

    Chris

    Hey Bolevia,

That’s not exactly in the realm of questions about Kabbalah, although I understand what you’re getting at.

A person has basic needs of food, shelter, money etc., and then there’s the “mental health” which really just points at a person’s general well-being. There are things we need to do to make sure we’re set up as much as possible in this world. Kabbalah doesn’t help get you a job, or a partner and likewise, it doesn’t solve these types of issues either. What Kabbalah does is raise a person’s perspective to something higher, more inclusive and ultimately spiritual. If you think you’re still not “healthy”, you’d need to take the same approach as you would with a broken arm – not healthy > goes to doctor (or comparable).

We exist in a reality where we rely on one another whether we like it or not. This is how it was built for us. Therefore, we need to use the systems set up in place to help us when we need help. Kabbalah deals with the point in the heart of a person. All of our other needs are treated in this world.

I hope that’s clear and I hope you can find peace through any means.

    Thanks and all the best,

    Chris

Yeah Jesse passionately wrote a couple of books during his time with us.

    He’s recently moved on.

    Hey mrc,

Sounds like you’ve got a lot on your mind, perhaps going through a stressful time. I’m happy to answer questions but you sent a slight barrage and I feel like answering each one of them might not be the solution.

After you’ve been sitting on this a while, do you think you can phrase the emotions into a single question or two?

    Hope you’re well,

    Chris
