I hope to get some serious and foundational knowledge about Kabbalah. I am indeed weary of my autodidactical approach which has yielded quite mixed results. Being steeped in half-truths is not conducive to an improved mental health. Yet how could one have any positive effect on one’s environment if one is lacking real insight and has to rely on one’s own intuition and imagination to fill the gaps? Being alone has also the disadvantage that no one corrects your working hypotheses. And being alone with one’s own thoughts is not very empowering to say the least…
patrick diederichParticipantHello fellow students,
I look forward becoming a part of this community. May we become the change one wants to see in the world! Aho!
patrick diederichParticipantHello, my name is Patrick Diederich. I decided to take the course because would like to expand my skills in listening, understanding and sharing. I also have an intuition that learning more about Kabbalah will quicken my mind and help me understand the influence of this ancient wisdom tradition on the cultural history.
patrick diederichParticipantHello, my name is Patrick Diederich.
I have been very interested in the history of religious ideas for some time now. I suscribed to the course because I sense that connecting to others and a more focused and sustained mode of study would be helpful to me. And enjoyable too!
