When we feel furthest from the creator is actually when the light is working on us the most. That feeling of despair that I am not in equivalence of form with the most-high – that I am still prideful or lustful but have caught myself in my own folly – but that I turn to the creator in humility, elevating the friends as great and putting pressure on the connection between us in how I think and feel about them, brings about more and more corrections and thereby is the means of which I can strengthen the influence of the reforming light.

Asking the Creator to show me areas of correction, studying Kabbalah, paying attention to things he shows me.

To attract the reforming light we should keep our focus on our studies and our understanding of Kabbalah, no matter how difficult this may be , or how many moments of confusion or despair we may cycle through.

Exposure to the wisdom and writings will also help to attract the reforming light .
This focus demonstrates our fervent intention to move towards and be like the creator, that this desire for equivalence of form and unity with the creator, is our greatest desire .

We can strengthen the light that reforms by being aware and questioning our intentions behind every actions. Noticing the ego/ will to receive behind all our current desires

We should stop trying to change things ourselves because this is the burden we cannot possibly carry. Instead we should connect to the Light and let the Light do the job, so we can be relieved from that burden. The only two things we should then worry about is connecting to the Light and accepting its guidance no matter what. Then we will smoothly travel along our path.
