I think our work with the light that reforms is about transforming our intention from the will to receive for egoistic reasons into the will to bestow by receiving for altruistic reasons. I think we can strengthen the influence of the reforming light by continued desire to reform and connect with the creator. Connection with others who are also studying kabbalah is one actionable way to strengthen the influence.

The light that reforms our growing egoistic desires with the intention to bestow..  It is strengthened by studying kabbalah in a group with a teacher, it is strengthened by the joy we feel when we study kabbalah and the closeness we feel to the creator, but most importantly it is strengthened by our relationships with our friends and family as we work with the reforming light

The Surrounding Light is a force that corrects human nature from egoism to altruism. We can strengthen the influence of the reforming light through the method of Kabbalah.

We want to attract the light that reforms, and we can do it by our intention and desire for it. Of course Kabbalah is the method to help us, so being here, studying Kabbalah with a teacher is the best way to do it.

We can create an environment that includes reading works of Kabbalists, being a member of a group of 10, and having a teacher. As we do this, we set our intention to bestow because we receive. Meanwhile, we use the pursuit of our egoic desires to operate in the cycle of egoic attainment > fleeting pleasure and emptiness > growing desire for spiritual attainment > some measure of spiritual attainment and pleasure > ego taking that spiritual attainment and pleasure for itself and reiterate.
