  • Hi Kima,

The Creator, and everything He sends us, operates on the frequency of bestowal. While we are looking at life through the lens of reception. As such, we operate on two completely different frequencies. So it’s currently impossible for us to understand Him. We first need to correct our nature and become similar to Him. Only then will we begin to understand Him and to comprehend properly all that we see in life.

    Hi Marta,

There is no official English version of this poem. You can check out this Google translated version to get a taste of it.

But in general, keep in mind that we usually don’t study such things directly, but only when Baal HaSulam or Rabash quote a line or two from there in order to explain to us what it means.

    Hi Martin,

First we need to clarify this statement. When Kabbalists tell us that we need to “Love your friend as yourself”, they are not talking about our neighbors, our colleagues, or our corporeal acquaintances. Rather, a friend, in Kabbalah is someone close to me spiritually, someone that shares the same spiritual goal as me. In other words, a friend is someone with an active point in the heart that is together with me on the spiritual path. This is why the spiritual work of “love your friend as yourself” is primarily carried out in a Kabbalistic group.

What about our work towards the rest of the world? There we need to remember the rule that “there is no coercion in spirituality” and not try to force anyone to do spiritual work with us. Rather, there we need to act normal, just like everyone else.

We’ll learn about these things in greater detail in the more advanced semesters, especially after each one will receive their own Kabbalah group with whom they can put these things into practice.

    Hi Kima,

We learn that all of humanity is part of one single system, like cells within a single body. Each one of us is like a cell, but each cell belongs to the common body. In other words, each cell does not function on its own, but everything that happens to it is a reflection of the whole body.

It’s like a hologram where the big image is made up of identical smaller copies of that image. So if there is a flaw in one of the smaller images, that same flaw is found in every piece. And if you correct that flaw in the small piece, it’s reflected in the whole image.

So if I correct myself, I correct my part of this general picture. That is called reaching one’s individual final correction. And when each one will correct their part of the general picture, then we reach the final correction of the whole world.

    Hi Juan, good question!

We cannot prevent such things. We can only teach people how to properly relate to these books. But even then, relating to the books correctly does not mean that this person will be able to interpret them correctly. This is because the language of root and branches is not something you learn but rather something that comes with spiritual attainment. Without spiritual attainment, we cannot truly understand these things.

It’s like a blind person that is trying to study colors. He can learn the wavelengths behind each one, the different feelings they all evoke, but ultimately he will never truly understand colors. But if this blind person was to undergo an operation and gain his sense of sight, how easy and simple it would be to teach him colors. We would simply point to it and say “this is red”.

It’s the same with the language of roots and branches. It’s currently impossible for us to truly grasp these things. But once we gain our “spiritual sight” we would pick these things up very easily and naturally. And only then can we properly interpret what is written in the Kabbalistic books.

    Hi Zoran,

The screen is our intention to bestow. We acquire the screen as well thanks to the light. We can say that everything we achieve in spirituality is thanks to the light. Why is that so? Because attaining spirituality or rising above reason means that we rise above our egoistic nature. But just like a PC cannot just change itself to run as a Mac, we too cannot just do anything against our own nature with our own strength, it’s impossible. We need outside help to make this change. So ultimately all of our spiritual work boils down to extracting more and more light, especially through the Kabbalistic studies, and it does all the rest.
