We have to work on creating positive connections, as that is the most crucial thing humanity needs. Reformed education and parenting is the key to upbring a generation that will naturally live by the law of interconnectedness of nature.
May 29, 2023 at 9:11 pm EDT in reply to: Based on the lesson so far, what Learning Environment Would YOU Create? #321055EvaParticipantI discovered in my late 40’s I am dyslexic, not too severe but enough to be badly influenced by the school system when growing up. When I first learned about the concept in school as a senior student it shook me. We also learned the concept that if somebody can not learn in the way we teach, find ways to teach them how they learn! Mind blown and my work search trajectory changed completely. That opened up Pandora’s box of my past traumas and self work came parallel with carrier change. The ideal learning environment I would create would be playful, interactively inclusive, with set rules and boundaries appropriate for the level of the group which don’t limit the freedom of curiosity, expression and respectful disagreements.
EvaParticipantI feel like collaborative environment would support learning in the most optimal way. Right collaboration includes the other two, supports the development of the individual also creates just enough resistance/friction through competition to fuel development for everyone. The emphasis is on the right ratio, but sorry, can’t attach numbers. Is it even possible when everything is constantly in motion and adaptation is what makes a system work optimal?

What would I do? … That is the only way I could comment, otherwise I have no idea. I have to leave my curiosity drive me further into the lessons to find out …
May 29, 2023 at 2:31 pm EDT in reply to: What do you think prevents most business owners from acting on the vital importance of positive social relations in the workplace? #321026EvaParticipantTheir own lack of experience of the positive social experience, being trapped in a survival, competing state. That is something “book knowledge” can not teach, no matter how much you keep “ educating” them, they will not change, impossible, and not their fault. They need to experience it, they need others, who have the experience to provide the safety that is OK to let go of competition and collaborate, because if you do, 1 + 1 can equal not two, but 3,4, … so on. The whole world needs people who are “healed” enough to provide the safety net for competitors not to “jump” into perceived positive connections – which might end up an ego booster – but ease themselves into it with small steps led by example. So many of my precious learnings, trainings and sufferings are coming alive again here. Two of the most popping gems are: … I am paraphrasing and forgot where is coming from, but is from trauma informed training/practices … 1. Children do not get traumatized because of what happens to them, but because they are left alone during the bad experience. 2. Trauma is untapped potential! Powerful, meaningful and that is where correcting the Ego, and our human condition, hides.
