There’s truly no worse state possible than the reality we’re in. And in its future is only decline from now on. Development on this level is done. People want things to return to how they were, but those conditions were only to develop us. So it won’t go back to how it was. Never. The Creator has prepared a beautiful adventure for us that lies beyond the barrier to the Upper World. That’s the only reason we’re in this world, and not to do anything else but use it as a launchpad. We still live in this world until the 125th degree. That’s only the correction process. Then there’s more. But we don’t discuss that. We need to correct all our desires one by one. And we never descend. We go from strength to strength. If we go faster, it’s incomparably more pleasant. Not only do we long with love and passion towards the Upper exalted goal but this world we’re in really feels like a launchpad. No unpleasantness needs to come as long as we’re running towards the goal of life. The descent that I feel along the way is only because each moment new desires emerge in me, broken ones, which cause me to look down at my feed bag again, like a donkey, and not at my master (the Upper Force) so then I receive a tiny blow, and hopefully I get in line. If not, a big blow, the world turns black again. Till I remember and start again anew towards the spiritual goal. That’s why one needs a group so that one won’t allow himself to stray and go unconscious towards the goal of life.

The spiritual goal means bestowal. Of course what bestowal is gets clarified further as you advance. Not in words, I can tell you right now, but in feeling. The extent to which my whole reality, feeling, everything comes through reality to me from the Creator, and I must bestow back to Him, also through the reality, which is the transistor between us. And there are special parts in it – the group of people drawn like particles in a field to Kabbalah – through whom I must adapt my bestowal first. Through them I bestow to humanity and through that whole pipeline to the Creator. But we can’t work with all that now. We have to start simply in a group with basic exercises.

It explains the whole process we go through. Nothing I’ll say will compare to learning from Baal HaSulam but I can say that the milestones, if you will, are straightforward: try to connect according to the advice of Kabbalists, reach “don’t do to another what you hate,” and later “love the other and you love yourself, that is, with all your heart, soul and might, and when you do your love of the Creator too will be complete.” But humanity hasn’t even begun.

The Point in the Heart emerges by the Upper Force, one doesn’t know why, and as long as it’s awakened, it’s the sensor with which one appreciates Kabbalah. This point fell from the Upper World Kabbalah writes about, and this Point longs to return to its root. But if this Point is not already awakened in the person causing them to search for Kabbalah, you can’t interest them in it more than in a passing, superficial way.

Because the desire to receive is our capital, our dry field, which can be turned into a vineyard. It can be inverted into the Creator’s (opposite) quality. The more desire we have, the more we can invert, and the greater the revelation of the Creator accordingly. But we are not even in that preliminary state where we discover to what depths we are a Will to Receive. We don’t know that about ourselves; we think there’s something more to us than this. But as we study Kabbalah, the Light works, and it reveals this to us. Knowing this, believing it, isn’t enough, we have to feel it.

We’re very weak. And completely controlled by the Upper Force, which controls us in concealment. This makes us even more weak because we believe from the bottom of our hearts that we are in control and free. That’s a double concealment. We can’t talk about what we could become after the Light works on us and many corrections through it, because we don’t feel that state, it’s imaginary right now.
